Really nice food. Lovely setting, though a bit cramped inside - probably lovely in summer when folks can sit outside. Would go again.
Happened to stop after many years saying I would one day. What a wonderful place. Staff absolutely lovely and the station building fantastic. The coffee spot on but the homemade sausage rolls are sublime. Definitely worth a stop over
Visited earlier in the morning when it was relatively quiet. I ordered a flat white and crumpets, but the coffee machine wasn’t working, so I had to settle for a filter coffee instead. I then waited nearly 30 minutes for the crumpets, which never arrived. When I went to request a refund, I was met with an incredibly rude response from the male cook. Instead of apologising, he insisted it hadn’t been 30 minutes and said he was going to check the CCTV, essentially accusing me of lying. I had used Apple Pay, so I knew exactly how long ago I had paid. I was absolutely taken aback by the attitude. Based on that interaction alone, I won’t be returning. On a positive note, the girl with glasses was lovely and polite, and they do have a wide selection of cakes.
Lovely little cafe by the train station, dog friendly, delicious homemade cakes, plenty of seating inside and out. Lots of parking (if you don’t arrive by train).
Decent cafe. Service can be variable. Often slow with queues out the door. Sometimes strange with staff clearing plates before you’ve finished eating. Keep your expectations low and you’ll enjoy it.
Delamere and Blakemere are fantastic areas for all kinds of outdoor activities for any age and the best way to end a visit there is a visit to the Station House. All day breakfast, toasties, everything but the best choice is the home made soup. Just the ticket if you've been out on a cold day. There's even a dog friendly section and a Snugbury's ice cream shop on site too.
Great food, excellent menu. Only marked down as table was a bit sticky and waited a while for food. Having said that I think they were short staffed on the day I went so won't stop me visiting again.
Excellent. Regularly visit. Highly recommended: fresh food, eat & drink indoor/outdoor. Wonderful staff.
