I’ve just been to Asda to use the pharmacy first scheme to be referred to 111 for a sore throat. The pharmacist didn’t bother to look at my throat and although the lady who I saw first of all was very helpful, the pharmacist himself couldn’t wait palm me off to another NHS service. No wonder it’s a mess with people like him making decisions

Unbelievable systems in place. Moved to this pharmacy due to opening times with my working hours, but the inability to have normal conversations or for the staff to actually release medication is astounding. A prescription released at 9:30am cannot be collected for 72 hours, after arguing this because until 5pm, even with an urgent doctor appointment for a time sensitive medication. When discussing annoyance the answer is “yeah well that’s how this pharmacy works”. Maybe look at the online reviews and change systems?

Very rude staff, have no customer manners. Staff need training how to be polite and treat customer. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to use Asda pharmacy in redcliffe.

Shambolic, unprofessional and condescending service from people who think it's ok to take an hour to fill a prescription, take the mick to your face in a patronising tone, and then seemingly lack the spatial or social awareness to realise that when they go back of house to brag to their colleagues about "how they told you" that you can still actually see them and the fact that they're grinning from ear to ear. Juvenile, inefficient, and symptomatic of a health service focused more on its own vanity than serving their customers.

Really poor customer service from a new-ish member of staff that I’ve never seen before. Small girl, of Asian ethnicity, asking very prying questions and coming across very patronising. I went for some OTC pain relief which I have been using for some years. She asked me a barrage of questions (which I understand) but in a very scripted and uninterested way, almost as if it was an annoyance. When I said I’d taken this medication plenty of times for pain for many years, she asked me “what pain”. I told her back pain. Her response was “don’t you think you should go to your doctor if you’ve had pain for that long”……. I’ve literally been for numerous scans, tried numerous medications, and actually had an MRI booked for the following week. The way she spoke to me was almost as if I was stupid. Terrible terrible attitude. I do not have to divulge my past medical history in detail, when I simply came for some mild pain relief. My GP is fully aware of my care plan, and you’re not a pharmacist. While I understand there is a certain criteria of questions that need to be asked (I’m a nurse, so I get it), work on your customer service skills, and be more approachable.
