Popped in here a couple of times during our recent trip to Chester. Coffee was very nice and clearly good quality coffee. Cakes were also good, fresh and a good variety. Didn't have any hot food but what was coming out of the kitchen looked and smelt good.
Excellent little cafe, friendly staff and very clean. My breakfast was cooked just how I liked it. The sausages and bacon were excellent as was the beautiful sourdough toast. I wouldn't hesitate returning when I'm next in the area.
Absolutely unbelievable! Fantastic food, I watched the chef cook our food and it was at the up most standard! The staff on site went above an beyond to the point where one of the girls even fed a mothers baby so she could eat! As a mother I know how hard this can be to eat a meal with a new born. Drinks and meals were prompt, expected waiting times for what we ordered. The food was delicious and the drinks were spot on. The staff are so lovely and welcoming. Cozy nice environment. Definitely returning soon.
Lovely spot for a breakfast and coffee. Coffee was high quality and the breakfast was clearly high quality and fresh ingredients. Staff were nice. It was quiet early morning and then there was a bit of a rush that staff dealt well with. Definitely worth a visit for a coffee if you are in the area.
Amazing lunch yesterday! Greeted by a very friendly and lovely lady. Overall the place had a nice chilled atmosphere. Excellent service from friendly staff. Food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Nice vegetarian choice for my daughter who normally struggles to find options she likes. Mochas and hot chocolate were out of this world. If we didn't live far away we'd be here all the time!
We asked if we could take a seat and girl mumbled something, couldn't make out what she was saying. We were sat waiting to be served, weren't told it was counter service. Completely ignored by all staff apart from woman slamming cutlery on the table. Ended up walking out after a while. Love supporting small local businesses but couldn't on this occasion due to rude, ignorant staff.
Good coffee, cinnamon bun....delicious. Nice atmosphere, friendly service. Breakfasts passing by looked really good.
How can you not love this cosy and warm tea/coffee place in Chester when it screams everything Chester is. Experience is all about. Fresh cakes, outdoor seating, friendly staff and lovely cesterians…. Even more to enjoy during a warm sunny day. Outdoor seating options are available.
Walking around the historic centre of Chester and what a great find! Inside you find a light and airy interior, great decor and furnishings. There's outdoor seating options too. Cinderbox Coffee was easy to locate along Bridge Street, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination. A good choice of bread rolls, croissants, cakes, pastries and sandwiches. They all looked incredibly delicious! Opening hours are: ○ Monday - Saturday: 7.30am till 6pm. ○ Sunday: 8am till 5.30pm. Takeaway available. Toilet available. Well worth checking out if your in the area!
Excellent food, excellent coffee. Parmesan Crust was delicious, as was the cheese and ham croissant. Highly recommend visiting!
