   Asked for a med black coffee what i received was a cup of treacle awfully strong . I asked the man behind counter to poor half away and top up with water .He topped it with milk. He replaced it with another cup of treacle and a small hot water . No appology what so ever

   Busy place, coffee was good as always. But there was no seating available. There were chairs, but they were on top of tables. The staff said they were cleaning, but they said that each time I visited that day. This is located in a hospital, so I spent a long time there waiting in A&E with a family member. The staff would not even let a pregnant lady sit down. They are just lazy and should not be working in retail.

   Only told after paid they could not us have proper cups and pot of tea, they said they was short of safe, but had 5 staff working !!! If they had a sign up or told us before placing an order, we wouldn't had bothered.

   Busy place, staff are helpful, it's inside whiston hospital, it's card only unfortunately if you're a patient and have been left with cash, it's a Costa if frequently use them it's worth getting the Costa card, plenty of seating place is clean and tidy,

   The queue is usually pretty long. The visiting hours will concentrate people around 3-4pm and 6-7pm. They have changed their Sunday opening to 9am not 8am. There is a good canteen/restaurant on the 5th floor that is recommend on price and convenience

   What a nice thing in such a bad place. The hospital it's self is lovely but when visiting a hospital it's usually not for a good reason. So to have some lovely and chatty staff making you smile as they serve you makes the experience a little more bearable. The coffee is good and the food is lovely too.
