I actually visited the store on behalf of my friend, but I ended up having a really great experience with Abi (Abilashini). I purchased a laptop, printer, and a bag. I’ll definitely visit Currys New Malden again—the service from Abi and Khan was excellent. Thanks to both of you for the discount as well!

I went to the store today to make a purchase for my new home and to check out the Black Friday deals. 100% I agree with the following reviews, about not much help given. Either I was in a position where I couldn’t see a single person available to help, or 2 or 3 busy with other customers or a single worker busy walking around with trolleys and if you try to stop them, they would either ignore or seem bothered about being stopped. How are customers meant to make purchases if we don’t get the help we need. I ended up getting an online purchase for 4 products as I was waiting over 20 minutes for someone to help me. I did purchase 4 other items with good quality and good protection plan with it. Thank you to the individual that helped to move the TV in the car.

I had the most awful customer experience in this store. It was a few months ago now but I wanted to get it documented. I enquired about an item after eventually getting the attention of a member of staff. I was told to wait while they did some checks. 20 minutes passed, nothing, 30 mins passed and I noticed the member of staff with his coat on walking out of the store. Compete waste of time, I tried to flag someone down to complain but no one seemed interested or bothered. So I left. Got the items at John Lewis

I visited the Currys New Malden branch yesterday to look at a couple of appliances I wanted to buy. I asked sales assistant about a price match, as both AO and John Lewis were offering the same items at a lower price. As Currys does price match, but when I showed the online prices, they said I needed to speak to the manager, Khadi. What followed was one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had in a store. The manager’s attitude was completely rude, dismissive, and arrogant. He didn’t even try to listen or explain properly — he just kept saying “no, no, no” in a very disrespectful tone. There was no effort to understand my point or even show basic courtesy. For someone in a managerial position, his behaviour was shocking and completely unacceptable. I explained that the prices I found online were not part of any membership deals or limited-time offers — they were the standard retail prices. Still, he refused to even consider it, saying their items were “fresh,” whatever that means, as if that justified ignoring the company’s price match policy. When a store like Currys advertises price matching, customers expect honesty, consistency, and at least a respectful conversation. Instead, I was met with rudeness, zero professionalism, and no customer care whatsoever. This experience has left me extremely disappointed. If this is how managers treat customers, it seriously damages the store’s reputation. I’m leaving a one-star review for the Currys New Malden branch, and I strongly urge management to review this incident and train their staff—especially their managers—on basic customer service and professionalism.

A fairly large branch of Currys, with a free customer car park. There was a good selection of products, and most items appreared to be well-stocked. I was looking for several different items, and was able to find them all. There were plenty of staff members available, so I was able to get assistance when I needed it. The staff member who served me was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It was a good experience and I left the shop feeling satisfied, so would be happy to return.

Still the same items are a spread across the store especially laptops instead of displaying cheapest to expensive they are spread around to keep people searching many of the items are missing prices forcing customers to talk with an assistant which there is only one for that particular subject although I have rated it 2 stars after my last visit I would rate it 1 star much better to go online and search. The staff were pleasant and helpful. But the set up is to confuse and hope some will buy whatever is within there price range after being totally confused by the display. I would advise research what you are interested in and then visit the store and try to find the products you are interested in . That said you really need an eye in the sky to find them.

Drove all the way to the store to collect a monitor at 20:05 yesterday. According to Google and Curry’s website the stores closes at 21:00. Doors locked on arrival, told by staff that their hours changed last week and it now closes at 20:00. No acknowledgement from staff about the inconvenience. Multiple other customers were arriving at the same time. If you change your hours your website at least should reflect this. Have bought the monitor from another shop now.

Not the one to usually leave reviews but I just felt like this had to be said. From the moment we walked in no member of staff even took any notice of us. I had to approach a member of staff only to be told to wait 2 mins. It took 10… at the end we were not even served by the staff member who said he would serve us. A lovely young lady was helping us. Then another colleague of hers was EXTREMELY rude to her and I just couldn’t bare it. Zero customer service, zero communication skills. Defo do not recommend going.

I was very happy with the attentive service l received. My aim was to buy a new computer, which l did, it was stress free. The staff listened to my request, answered all my questions and the sale was done. It's a massive store, lots to choose from, nice to be able to look around first to get an idea of what was available before speaking to anyone. In general a very positive experience and so far very happy with my purchase. Parking available.
