There is a little locker with a range of cakes and an honesty box! This is so great to have in such a small village and is open until late! These cakes are hand baked and amazing, I couldn’t recommend enough, these homemade cakes and treats are the best there is. Definitely worth a visit

What a hidden gem. As we were staying close by we just had to try Lynda’s cake and tea room. Two lovely ladies are working extremely hard in a very competitive market to provide you with good honest home cooked food and cake. Unfortunately these places are few and far between and are being replaced by chain coffee shops etc. If you get chance pay these ladies a visit and sample some of their delicious food, cake and hospitality. When we’re next in the area we will make a point of going to Lynda’s again.

Took my amazing girlfriend for a surprise treat before going to chester. Well worth the hour and a bit drive. What a gem. Quirky tearoom set back from the road. Service was amazing and people very chatty and genuine. Even had a free library for you to take a book home with you or swop on your next trip. We had an afternoon tea. It was delicious and plentiful. We can highly recommend this place. Great value for money.

My fiancée and I came here for a little afternoon tea on a trip to Chester. This was part of a holiday where we actually went for a stay at a local hotel, but I was desperate for an afternoon tea spot: Lynda’s did not disappoint!! The food was beautifully made, the sandwiches fresh and lots of care and attention. In these days, it’s very common to make things in advance and batch - but this was a lovely afternoon tea tailor made and beautifully presented. It’s also a really nice spot if you want to bring young children as well. Thoroughly recommend it to people of all ages.

Afternoon tea for a Hen Party of 18. Fantastic room that we had to ourselves, beautifully decorated. Afternoon tea was delicious and very well presented, savoury or sweet option but both coming with a gorgeous scone. Provided with boxes for those who didn't finish. Tea and coffee kept flowing alongside provision of glasses to bring your own prosecco which went down very well and so reasonably priced! Staff so friendly as well- thanks very much Lynda and co, would highly recommend!
