Buying a new bike is alway tricky and welcomed Matt’s expertise and advice. He was very friendly and directed questions directly to my daughter which was nice. Thanks so much for all of your help, we really appreciated it.

Decathlon Stockport is a clean and well-organised store with a spacious layout that makes browsing easy. There is a large car park, which is convenient and stress-free, even at busier times. The range is extensive, with a wide choice across sports and activities, offering the usual reliable Decathlon products at good value. Overall, a practical and efficient shop that is easy to access and well suited for both quick visits and more detailed shopping.

Good store. Easy parking. Popular. Sometimes clothing for "Mr. Average" isn't in stock but I suppose this is understandable for such a popular shop. Great selection of items and decent prices.

Staff i spoke to were so helpful. Clement was very knowledgeable about running shoes and showed me options that matched my needs and didn't try to just direct me to expensive things. He was kind, polite and helpful- he deserves a bonus! FYI the store doesn't do full gait analysis, just a foot scan to indicate suitable shoes.

I had a really great experience shopping at Decathlon recently. The staff were friendly and made the whole atmosphere feel really welcoming, which made it easy to relax and actually enjoy browsing. What stood out the most was how simple and comfortable it was to try things on. The fitting rooms were easy to access, and the setup just made sense and it felt totally natural to grab a few items and see how they fit without any hassle. Everything felt well-organized, and the whole process from walking in to walking out with my purchase was quick and easy.

I highly recommend Workshop to anyone who has a problem with a bicycle. Jamie who works there is very nice and willing to help. I admit that I am not an expert on bicycles and this is why I appreciate the more the patience with which Jamie helped me choose the right parts. If Decathlon has an employee of the month, Jamie definitely deserves it :)

Paul was really helpful. Assisting me with my purchase of a massively heavy large kick bag. Helping me carry it and load onto my car. Really professionally.

Decathlon is the best all around sports shops especially the one at Stockport (been to others and they don't have same range) from horse riding to mountain climbing they have it in stock. Changing rooms as well and They use RFID labels on everything. (Radio Frequency Identification) in simple terms when you go to the checkouts it knows what you have ans self serve could not be easier. For the shop it's easier to maintain stock accuracy. They also have a place where you can eat an addition about a year ago.

Great place, but I've mainly used it for camping gear! This view taken from about 35,000 ft on the decent into Manchester Airport.

My favourite sporting goods store! Decathlon Stockport has a great selection of running gear and if running into your thing, the chances are they’ve got the sport you’re into. There is plenty of parking and the staff a friendly and knowledgable. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by the pricing too.
