Great company have been renting my entertainment equipment for over 25 years, reasonably priced, great customer service, great for rentals, purchases and you can pay monthly which helps alot thank you so much to maxine, Alan and everyone at pounds electricals
Ryan was brilliant from the moment we stepped in the shop till after we purchased our appliances for our new home. He has helped us choose, ensured they were delivered on the desired day and followed up with us to make sure was working properly. We also ordered an extra appliance which due to a false alarm with one of the previous ones, has kindly offered to come over and check and brought it with him too at no extra cost. We are very happy to have supported a local shop and pleased with the level of care received.
Horrible horrible experience. Bought a hoover and realised it was wrong, not powerful and wrongly advised. They wouldn’t return after 2 min Home use, after a long long negotiation. They refunded half the cost. Really upsetting. I’m a single dad on low income and the robbed me. I tried to support my local business. But what’s the point when I get treated like that.
If i can give 10 stars i would, from start to finish these guys were great, quick , helpful and professional. Massive thanks to Alan for helping with the ordering and the delivery drivers were so helpful and nice to us. i didn't get their names but please thank them for their hard work.

Top drawer. I'd had two failed attempts to get my fridge, once via Amazon, who emailed me a week after I'd paid to say they couldn't fulfill the order. At Curry's I was in-store but I couldn't bear to complete my order due to the incredibly long-winded ordering process and the apparent dimness of the chap taking my details (I was not unkind as I withdrew).Then I remembered Pounds. I was in store for a matter of minutes and the delivery was made the next day. They are brilliant. Shop there. Keep them going.
