The man thats served us wasn't very knowledgeable and I actually was sent the wrong cooker. Was sent a dual cooker instead of a gas cooker even though the sales person assured me he was ordering the fully gas one. Luckily the cooker was a good one so I kept it but wasn't happy that the mistake was made in the beginning. He also wrote on the delivery that I was ground floor so the delivery people didn't have to bring it up to my flat if they didn't want to, luckily it was Xmas and the delivery people did bring it to my first floor flat out of the kindness of their hearts. I don't think I will be going to this currys again.

Went to buy a laptop, I then was asked 'Am I concerned about privacy' - presumably in an attempt to talk me into some sort of subscription to get commission from it. Once at the till, I was then asked for my email address and postal address. When I asked for what uses this information was going to be processed they were unable to give me a definite answer, and two shop attendants just kept suggesting random things like 'the manufacturer's warranty', or an e-receipt. Clearly the staff are trained in how to sell stuff for commission payments but have no idea about the Data Protection regulations in the UK nor what the information is going to be used for that they are trying to collect. I see no legitimate reason why an email address or postal address needs to be collected in order to sell a laptop (which does not fall under TV licensing requirements)

Awfully managed at the moment, that is obvious. Lost orders. Staff going off to the back to avoid helping customers. Shelves poorly stacked. Mislabelled items. Missing prices. Sign outside is faulty. Shout out to the lady on collections putting in a shift. Let down by her colleagues. Saw plenty of staff around for the number of customers, just seemingly unable to get organised.

It’s aight - I rate it cuz it’s local and feels kinda nostalgic. Some of the staff there are decent, others are pretty mid. I asked one dude with a mullet if someone was free so I can buy somethin (trust me I work in retail too, I know how busy it gets esp in central) but my man was a bit aggressive with his response. Like yo, sorry bro, damn

such an appaling store. quite grubby, with no staff on floor. asked for a tv expert and this guy went and spoke to their tv expert. she will be two minutes, just finishing up a sale with another customer. thats fair enough. i'll wait. that customer was served and finished with and the girl tv expert was nowhere to be seen. maybe a toilet break or something, no problem, people have their needs, so in total, i waited some 20 minutes for her from start to finish. gave up and walked out. Currys lost the sale of a Β£2500 tv. I went home and purchased one from john lewis online. I can highly recommend john lewis at blue water. very clean store, plenty of experienced staff who gave me all the answers i needed. dedicated. competitive prices and delivery today as planned. currys is ok for window shopping but customer services are the dreggs.

Walk into this shop you can see many laptops there. But when you find some you like to buy, you are told it's not available. Ask which one is available then , they don't know. Many staff in the shop, but very busy to chat each other and let the customers wonder around there! !!

Extremely helpful young man who greeted me with a huge smile as I entered the store. He directed me to the area of the shop where the product I wanted to buy, and when I left the he stamped my receipt again thanked me for shopping at the store.

Popped in to have a look at a few OLED TVs today. The chaps in the TV department were excellent. Showed me a number of alternatives and were happy to wait with me whilst I took my time testing and choosing between them. There was no hard sell and no question was too much for them to answer or find and answer too. Highly recommended and thanks to the team!

Really hit and miss here. Really depends on who serves you. Some are so unhelpful and some are excellent. Went in one day to trade in my ipad and was rejected by 2 members of staff even when show them the t&c that i can. Went back the next day got served erkan and everything was sorted out quick and easy. When you go in pick who serves you if you can

Left utterly disappointed. A particular staff member by the name *SUNNY* ruined our experience as it seemed like he purposely did not want to help my partner and I. When we approached him for a query on the specifics on laptop processer's, to gain a better understanding he answered our query with a question, which made us feel silly for asking and walked away before we could ask him further questions. He proceeded to speak to us in a rude and condescending tone and honestly seemed like he despised explaining the technicalities of products to customers. He really needs to be retrained with proper associate etiquette and proper customer service skills because, I genuinely feel sorry for those that come into contact with him.
