   The place itself is great. Go on a Saturday brilliant staff. On the ball. Go on a Sunday. Just wow. All stood around chatting together. No one at the shoe section. Found them in usc. Made it look like a chore to fetch them. Then try to pay. 1 person left his stuff at the till and left. I was about to but decided to go upstairs to pay instead. Again these were a lot better.

   Went to this shop today to get my son some running shoes. Absolutely shocking service. The did absolutely not want to help us don’t know if it is because I am deaf and had to ask for assistance from son to know what was being said as sales assistant refused to look up at us so I could see his face. i will never purchase anything from here again. I’d rather go without or drive to another town.

   Just an awful experience today, go elsewhere. There are barely any staff around even when the store is full. The ones about are actively avoiding customers. There were 10 different customers in the shoe section trying to find someone to speak to about shoes. If you do find someone prepare for them to be rude, uninterested and visibly annoyed you dared ask about shoes. Cannot imagine how many missed sales go on there, guess they are not paid on commission.

   Some of the staff were lovely and helpful, others need a serious attitude adjustment. It was close to closing and every 30 seconds you could hear them on the radio trying to hurry people along. Felt pressured to purchase. I get it, nobody wants to stay after their shift has finished but the girl who helped didn't seem to have a problem, just the rest of them.

   Shop was open at 9am Very helpful staff Saw what I wanted online and went into the shop asked staff a couple of questions both questions answered and pointed in the right direction Left the shop with exactly what I was looking for Happy experience

   No refund policy is disgusting. Staff can only claim “policy”. I would Echo Lee Carter’s comments of the manager! I will not shop with sports direct again.

   I went to sports direct on Saturday to buy something I saw online and I asked one of the staff members on the upstairs till if they can help I’m pretty sure I heard someone radio her and her name is Emily or Emma and she was amazing always tried to help as much as she can and even though she couldn’t find the item then asked another member of staff if they know and then found it she was so caring and always tried to help out will be coming back here to shop

   I get my shoes from there and selection is ok. Would definitely like to see some more options as most shoes are very similar but apart from that pretty good place for sports supplies.

   The Manager, Doreen I believe her name is, is the most rude, unhelpful, arrogant and incompetent manager I have ever come across! How people like her can be given managerial positions is beyond me. Chris, a supervisor on the other hand couldn't have been more helpful and deserves to be recognised how he dealt with the situation, apologising and acknowledging the issue. Sports Direct need to review Customer Service skills for the current manager.
