Took a microphone in to be looked at and either repaired or replaced l the member of staff on the repair desk (Marcus) was exceptional he was helping a gentlemen with something to with his iPads and in the downtime started to help us so we didn't have to wait for him to be done. It was exceptional how he was able to multi task both customers to make sure everyone is happy and being served. He also checked all our care plans for us as we were unsure what we had active. In the end the item was replaced there and then and we was on our way. Thankyou to Marcus we were in and out swiftly and left happy with the outcome. 7/5 to Marcus

I recently visited the Currys store near Woolwich, located in Stone Lake Retail Park, and had a positive experience overall. The location is convenient, easy to reach by car or public transport, and thereβs plenty of parking nearby. The store is spacious and well laid out, with clear sections for TVs, laptops, phones, and household appliances. I was impressed by the variety of products on display β itβs great to be able to see and test items in person before deciding what to buy. Everything looked tidy and well organised, making it easy to browse. The staff were polite, approachable, and professional. One member of the team took time to explain the differences between several laptop models, offering honest advice without pushing for a sale, which I really appreciated. Their friendly attitude made the visit more enjoyable. There was a short wait before I received assistance, but it wasnβt a major issue. Prices were clearly marked, and the checkout process was quick and smooth.

Poor service. Sales assistance standing around not helping customers unless requested. When requested i was told to go to the till and speak to a man with a green vest who will allocate someone. Rude. I waited 20minutes and not a single sales person approached me to ask if i needed assistance. When the same person who told me to go to the till was then assigned to me, he has poor communicate skills and poor technical product knowledge. He even tried to talk me out buying the laptop. He was more interested in what i was studying for my masters. Said the Microsoft Surface co-pilot laptop is too advanced. However it would also be for personal use and he said i should go for a cheaper laptop- why? I donβt have a budget. I asked him a simple question on the difference between two different Microsoft Surface laptops and was told the only difference was the size. Now that is incorrect, waste of time visiting store. Better online shopping.

I went to trade in my ipad and they had ran out of trade in sticker. Was told by the supervisor to go somewhere else as they can't trade in without the stickers. It took me half hour to get there and the next shop was half hour drive away. Its was the last day of the offer Β£100 extra trade in value. The really nice cashier man with long hair and glass whispered to me to ask the store manager for help as he walked pass. Which i did and explained my situation. He agreed to help and referred me to Mike. Mike went out of his way to find a solution, was very impressed by his knowledge of solving the problem. Left happy with the service i got.

Traffic can be very heavy during rush hours, but the roundabout at the entrance to the adequate car park helps traffic on the East-West route cross over the West-East traffic. Charlton Station is about a 10 minute walk away with a useful Pedestrian Crossing close to the entrance to the car park. The store is quite large and well laid out with 2 floors of goods. I found the staff helpful with my query re: a new washing machine.

This medium size Currys store has the most up to date home technology products and computers available. As same as other branches, every time it gives me inspiration for my visit!

We went to Currys to look at TVs as we wanted to buy a TV with stand and thought it would be good to support the local showroom at Charlton rather than buying online. Unfortunately, the whole experience was disappointing. The staff had limited knowledge about the products using handhelds to refer to online adverts and the wooden stand we wanted was boxed and the staff refused to let us see what colour the wood was - and said that if the box was opened there was no possibility of a refund if we tried to return it. Overall it felt like the staff really didnβt care whether we bought it or not and we left empty handed. Weβve now ordered both products from Richer Sounds as their service is exemplary, local shops well staffed and they take time to understand the products being sold.

Updated. I've been here more than a couple of times for one reason or another throughout the years. A whole lot hasn't changed in general to be honest but they have a large range in what you'd expect from a electrical retailer from both sides. The place itself is located within the 'Stone Lake Retail Park' which caters to other branded stores BUT one note to mention, you can only park here for 75 minutes but if you purchase anything from one of these stores, you can tell the store to put you on the list that excludes you from a fine if you've spent more than the allocated time given here. Staff have always been helpful when asked. Isn't a bad place to shop if you want to see a certain product in person. --- A whole range of home appliances and electronics. Staff were helpful when needed. Recommended.
