    Had a great time for the first half hour. Had a drink began to sing and was refused service. Visiting as an Irish tourist I was told I was too drunk. Sat there drinking water so my friends could be served, english friends, while an English man harassed and abused a young English couple. After this he was still served and I was still refused service. Local pub avoid at all costs of tourists

    I love this pub, it isn't my local but love it when I have the chance to pop in - right next to Hindley train station it's perfect if you have a long train delay or just fancy a nice cold pint after a day at work. The usual top quality choice of Joseph Holt's at great prices. Pool and Darts available, outdoor area and inside is lovely and clean - Sky available as well.
