   Went for christmas meal starter poor main meal not to bad could be hotter. Pudding was nothing like a christmas pudding shame love the pub well i did and why all the tvs in the restaurant food was much better before it went to green king

   First time here & we were pleasantly surprised. The staff are helpful and friendly. The Sunday roast meal we had was generally good, my wife's only complaint was the roast potatoes were a bit hard.

   We Celebrated my Retirement last night. We were a party of 15 and we had the most wonderful night. We all enjoyed different food choices. The staff were Excellent, attentive and very helpful.    Been here a few times myself. Took 3 friends last night. What a menu! So much to choose from. Chips amazing. Staff are all friendly and down to earth. If you've never eaten here you must try it. One of the best pubs around. Dog friendly too for our weekend trips.

   Can't fault this for good food and drink. If you're on the canal and there's a mooring spot, don't hesitate to tie up for a couple of hours. If visiting via road, there is parking available and a large beer garden if weather permits. Pub is dog friendly and relaxed. Food is very good, with generous portions, more than one of us could manage, so they provided a takeaway tray for free. Prawn and tuna salad and ham, egg and giant chip meals. Both amazing taste and value.
