   Grate pub don't really go anywhere else into the swan for a drink. food is always amazing. All the staff are grate. One in particular is Louis. He always delivers amazing service when on the bar and can have a grate laugh with him

   Oh dear me...4 of us popped in after football game,and was greeted by the most miserable barmen!(not one but two) it was really quiet! Our first round was £27.60 not cheap but ok, we then had 2 more rounds when it came to about 10.50ish we went to bar and asked could we have one more round,a shake of the head from the "smiling barman", we had spent nearly £85 on rounds. No wonder there was only maybe 10 people in the pub and Wetherspoons across the road is heaving(price was NOT the issue). Just we could have least have a smile from your staff.Sorry will not be returning

   Pre booked a large table of 10 with a high chair. Arrived and were put in the furthest end of the eating area with barely any access for a pram and no high chair. No problem I can carry my own. Upon ordering food got told 45 minute wait, didn’t understand why when it wasn’t too busy. Staff members sat down on the bar, we were there 2-3 hours and the only time the tables around us were cleared of the dirty food/plates was when I told a staff member who was that really rude and said ‘I’ve only just come in’. Food came out luke warm kids meals were last out which unusual kids weren’t pleased. Dishes weren’t cleared after we had eaten ordered 2 kids ice creams and an adult pudding and waited that long we ended up cancelling them, told 2 members of staff we had to leave (we had children with us) and still got charged for the puddings. Ended up buying ice creams from the sweet shop next door. Picture attached is the bar as we were leaving after I’d told staff the tables around us were dirty. Worked in hospitality all my life never seen anything like this

   Bar staff are the rudest I have come across, tables filthy after being there a hour still wasn’t cleaned! Food was just awful! Chicken wings where so dry and the smallest things I have seen

   Good pub. Very friendly helpful staff. Food is always fresh and hot. Hand pump beers are kept well, very important as we are camra members ! This is the best pub in the area.

   My opinion as one of the best pubs around the area just now, calm atmosphere, pleasant staff, selection of beers amazing. Management are doing their best to get people in, planning events are constantly posted around the premises.

   Food was lovely. Took mum the other day for a chilled afternoon. I had tikka chicken and mum had the seniors deal. Mum chose sausage and mash. Portion sizes were good and staff were really friendly. We was served by Vicki who was really polite. Thank you
