Lovely pub, friendly staff, really clean and food so good. We are on a tour in the Midlands and we stop here for lunch and breakfast.
Came with family for a themed breakfast. The food was delicious, with a wide range to choose from. The service was wonderful, everyone was very friendly. The children’s entertainment was amazing. The kids really enjoyed it all. We will definitely come again!
Called in this morning with three friends, we just needed to kill a little time before going to a funeral. Ordered four coffees and the lady who served us was a delight, cheerful, helpful and welcoming. I might never be in the area again but if I am i will certainly drop in.
The service from Jack was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and really made us feel welcome from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing, cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Everything came out promptly and beautifully presented. You can tell real care goes into both the service and the food here. Highly recommend The Nags Head — we’ll definitely be coming back soon!
Staff are lovely, very welcoming. Food was lovely and a great price. We had the mixed grill, crispy chicken sandwich, the mix it up meal and a side of Nachos. Only complaint is the toilets could do with a good scrub and the baby changing facilities are a bit grubby.
First time back for some time myself and mum we decided to go as it was dad's 5th anniversary of passing away. We had a roast very nice indeed. Ordered our drinks the staff were lovely and helpful I would go back again thank you for your hospitality.
Called in on Monday after a funeral, we only planned to have a couple of pints and go. The staff were so friendly, professional, and polite. We ended up staying all day. The service and quality of the food was outstanding and the whisky went down really well. Would just like to say thanks again.
First time visiting here today, We both enjoyed our meals here, we received a genuine warm welcome and great service from the team, Older lady made conversation with us and took time out to offer her personal recommendations, Praise to her, will definitely return soon.
A popular local pub & restruant under the Hungry Horse banner, offering cheap eats and drinks. We visited on a Friday early evening, spur of the moment & the place was very busy, with around a 45 minute wait for for food, so probably worth pre booking a table & bearing this in mind ahead if your visit. Food arrived hot & good sized portions, good value aa two burgers for the price of one one a Friday. Off road parking right outside the pub.
