   We ordered 4 steaks (2 medium and 2 well-done) and waited for an hour. The porsions are smaller from what I've seen around Liverpool. Rest of the dish was very oily. We came here because it has high ratings but it left us disappointed. Also the tables were very sticky.

   Great service and a decent mix of beers to choose from. Lots of televisions playing the different football matches that were on but still playing music instead of the background. Great location near the waterfront and also for the city centre.

   First time visiting the pub and was welcomed in a friendly manner. I ordered some food which was served quickly but not so quickly that you knew it had been warmed up in a microwave like they do in many pubs. This was fresh and hot food and was extremely tasty. It was the first time I had tried Scouse, but it was a very enjoyable experience. I would certainly recommend anyone who has not tried it before to try it. Guiness was poured correctly and tasted as it should do and was not too bitter tasting as it does when not looked after. Locals also friendly to a non local which was nice. Overall very nice experience and will definitely be visiting on my next trip to the city.

   The best home made Sunday Roast dinner and the best staff. Our 2nd time visiting Liverpool and we went back again to the Liverpool pub and again food and service was amazing. So helpful and accommodating. It feels like home from home. Great relaxing atmosphere. Best pub in Liverpool

   Well, this review has been a while in coming….I visited the Liverpool Pub in May of 1990! My mom’s cousin and family own it. We are from the US and finally made it for a visit to our family in England. They are lovely people and I am not surprised that they get so many 5 star reviews! I miss all of you!    There is no friendlier pub in town than the liverpool. The staff are always welcoming and friendly no matter how busy it is, it's reasonably priced and it's entertainment is always spot on.
