   My friend and I stayed a week ago and cannot fault the place. Fiona and all staff were just brilliant. Highly recommend the food and staying over. The food hut that sells breakfast cobs is a fantastic idea, a real treat, just what you need before heading out for a walk. The Loggerheads country park is worth a visit. Thank you team-we will be back! :-)

   Lovely Sunday dinner in a great location. Had roast beef, roast potatoes plus vegetables, everything was perfect and we are quite picky. Bonus was hawkstone lager on draught.

   This is the second time here for lunch with friends.The food was appalling chicken burger was like rubber,with limp dry lettuce leaf and tomato on burger.Chips were greasy and coleslaw was a supermarket cheap brand by the looks.Friends had chicken pie which was left in microwave too long and hardly any filling. I won’t be dining here again.

   Came here to try the Sunday roast and was pleasantly surprised. Excellent service and tasty food. They had a large display showing all the local suppliers which was a bonus, really lovely local place to go. The dining seating area was a lovely spacious room and they hadn't crammed too many tables in which gave the room a good feel. We will definitely be back!

   4 of us had meals here yesterday and they were all very good and well worth the price. We had beef lasagna, the tower burger and 2 fish and chips (1 with chip shop style curry sauce which was excellent). The portions were generous so we didn't have space for desserts. We booked for 4pm and whilst there were a few people in it was fairly quite. The service was good from start to finish with no searching round to get someone's attention. We'll definitely be going again.

   Booked for 20 for a Christmas meal and it was perfect. We had a vegan, someone who was gluten free and another with dairy sensitivity and they met all our needs (apart from the mince pies). Service was friendly and efficient, food was tasty, plentiful, well cooked, seasoned perfectly, hot and the ambiance was perfect. Highly recommend!!
