Ordered and paid for a new car battery by putting my car reg details in. Paid for fitting. The battery was the wrong one even though it was the right one on the website. The fitter was moody trying to fit it. Eventually put my old one back in. No apologies or advice on what to do next. Really disappointed with the service and won't be going there again. Waste of petrol and time.

Friendly staff but Not a good experience, Went in to have a simple dash board fuse replaced (12v port) Staff Member who did the work was very open that he didnt actually know what he was doing when it come to electrical work, Replaced a 10a Fuse with a 15a, Pulled out and put back a load of other fuses and Now my Alarm goes of intermittently, my Fob stops unlocking the car after 5 minutes and the central system keep resetting itself back to 0:00, Went in 3 times to get this sorted, Was eventually told to go somewhere else to get it fixed as they dont do electrical diagnostics so im left with a car thats worse then when i went into Halfords

Ive been waiting over a week for your off shore call center to call me back with a resolution but the idea of fast service seems alien to Halfords.
I have had a pointless call from the store manager who complained that i was getting annoyed and they told me i just need to wait for CS to call me back so such a great service.
The number of people who have told me "Oh you never go to halfords" is beyond ridiculous, just how bad is your reputation?

Took my son’s bike in for full brake replacement he was very knowledgable and clearly enjoys his job ! Had a windscreen repair. They left glue smeared on the windscreen and blobs of glue on the bonnet. Only saw it a couple of days later when I washed my car. Cleaned it off and polished the areas. Submitted a complaint and had no response.

CAR STEREO FITTING IS ANYTHING BUT SEAMLESS - Could you help your staff by reviewing your supply chain and return policy for the fascia and wiring used for the installation of car stereo’s? I understand from the Greyhound, Chester branch that the reason I haven‘t experienced a “seamless (as described on your website)” experience is because the store cannot return unused parts. Because of this I have to go back for another 2 hour fitting appointment after spending 1.5 hours today for an unsuccessful fitting. A few weeks ago I had a super-fast assessment which only took 5 minutes at the checkout and not a 30 minute assessment as described on your website. No one looked inside the car for my 5 minute assessment. I understand from the manager that they will refuse future car stereo fittings if they don’t know exactly which installation equipment is needed from the offset. How sad for customers!
