   Having moved recently into the area , I've used this particular store a few times now . All the staff is extremely friendly and helpful . But I would like to mention one member of staff particularly . Dave , the duty manager was an absolute gem in helping me choose the correct items ( which wasn't an easy task ) . I had to return within the hour , realising that the given screws were too long to use . Dave then took it upon himself to take a hacksaw and saw the screws to the correct length . Thank you so much . I will definitely always use this store and can recommend it .

   As owner of TRT Joinery & Carpentry, I use Screwfix branches in Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley and Sheffield on a regular basis. Their stock is always great quality and perfect if in need of material for job door hanging or fitting a kitchen etc. Their stock rarely lets you down and the staff work hard to turn delivery’s around quickly, allowing me to respond to jobs speedy.    Usually great. Not this time. Went to buy said product, checked was in store before i went (i was 5 mins away), it said in stock. Went down...not in stock 'someone must've bought it'. Not to worry, was told could get me in for next day...'come anytime after 12pm to pick it up'. So i paid and ordered. Went down next day 12:10, asked after my order..got a stroppy 'have you had your message to say its here?', i said, no, you told me yesterday anytime after 12pm and it states that on the receipt. He huffily went to check and then came back saying it wasnt in anyway and it 'might come tomorrow'. That'll be me not finishing what i wanted to do today then. Poor performance... Plenty other places to shop though.
