   Samantha, who was our main server, was excellent. She had only been working at the restaurant for a week but her approach was of someone much more experienced. The food was very good and we shall visit again.

   We booked our company Christmas lunch here which took place yesterday. We had the amazing and lovely Samantha look after the 22 of us. We had the room at the back to ourselves which meant we didn’t need to worry about our noise level.Nothing was too much trouble. She kept the drinks flowing, changed a meal when there was a problem and the food was scrumptious and nicely presented. We will be back

   Our third time, Ego at the Pomeroy. Nice decor. Pleasant staff. Festive menu was superb and reasonably priced. No doubt we'll be returning in the New Year. Would definitely recommend. Clean toilets. Large car park.

   We had a family lunch, belated birthday celebration for my elderly father. We made no special arrangements but Alexander, on hearing about the birthday made it special for dad. Just small things but it made a big difference. The food was lovely and we had a great time. The floor manager was very active making sure everyone was attended to. A big thanks to Alexander for his brilliant service and for making a difference!

   The Pomeroy in Amersham offers excellent value for money with great prices and a welcoming atmosphere. The menu has a fantastic selection, but I highly recommend the prawn linguine—it’s full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The service is friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in the area.

   Nice setting and good food. Service was friendly but a bit on the slow side. The order was also messed up a bit. We visited on a Sunday so it was very busy, but a Sunday on its own should not be an excuse or reason for slow service. Also was told at the door we must leave within 2 hours, even though we had a reservation. All in all it was good and would visit again.

   Came for Sunday roast today. Greeted at the door with a warm welcome and beautiful smile. Shown to the table which was near a heater ( good choice) Ordered the margarita cocktails, they were amazing, small critique- half the rim had salt other didn’t. Only minor thing. Ordered the starters, prawns and pate. Beautiful very well presented as you can see in photos. Tasted amazing. Main course 1 lamb 1 pork. Lamb was perfectly cooked and plenty on the plate. The pork was a good serving (mini joint). Both tasted phenomenal the veg and the roasters and parsnip were bang on. And the Yorker, just what was needed. Deserts Eaton mess and crème brûlée. Wow I’ll just have lamb and brûlée next time it was amazing. We will deffo be back. Staff were friendly and actually wanted to work unlike most staff in the industry. Ego @ the Pomeroy 5* We will return see you soon

   The Ego is a nice restaurant located in Amersham. They have both indoor and outdoor dining. The space is excellent and well laid out. It has a nice bar and love drinks. Sorry, no food pics here- but the food was delicious and served in style. The interiors are in excellent taste and comfortable. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. Loved the style with which the food was served.
