   Mitzi Tavernaki catered for a party we had at home. A variety of dishes ordered were all excellent. The chicken and pork souvlakia were juicy and tender. The loukanika and sheftalies were tasty. Moussaka was excellent as were the salads, rice and bougouri. The owner was very helpful helping me put the order together. Definitely recommend for authentic Greek food.

   Dropped in to get a veggie and vegan souvlaki after a long ride up from Finsbury Park through Epping Forest and the Lea Valley. Well worth the short wait and having to get a later train! Had heard good things about the Potters Bar one (aka it's on some Vittles list I subscribe to) and nice to hear it's a family business too.

   What can I say. I’ve ordered a few times from this little gem of a restaurant and I’ve not been disappointed. Today I ordered a lamb Kleftico with Cypriot roast potatoes salad and crab salad sides. The lamb just fell off the bone and was extremely flavourful. The roast potatoes were cooked in the meat juices and also very flavourful soft and has a beautiful Mediterranean taste. The salad came with olive oil and a great pot of dressing. Portions were generous. All hot food arrived hot & cold food was properly chilled when it arrived. You pays your money and takes your choice. This is a choice I will definitely make again.

   Hands-down my favourite place to eat! The food is absolutely packed with flavour, prepared with real care and top-quality ingredients. Honestly, the best chicken and lamb kebab I’ve ever tasted — seasoned and grilled to perfection. The staff are really welcoming too, which makes the whole experience even better. And the portion sizes? They’re huge! If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out.

   I would probably avoid. Kebabs are ok; always takes longer than they say and not worth the wait go somewhere else. Also expensive and not worth it

   The food took longer than expected to come off the grill. But to be fare they were incredibly busy. At one time I counted 11 people waiting in the shop. It was all worth it in the end, the souvlakia and other side dishes were delicious and perfectly cooked. Quality meat and salads. Best souvlakia for ages!

   Delicious lunch for 13. Have eaten here before so knew the food was good - really tender meat, nice salads, tzatziki, etc, and generous portions - but very impressed at a take-away celebration meal for 13, all piping hot when we got home 10 minutes later. Everyone loved it including the vegetarians - really good veggie moussaka. Thank you - we'll be back!
