   Fella went in to get his engine looked at about a month ago and to get his timing belt replaced. Service was fast I’ll give them that. However, he’s taken his car for an MOT today and been told there’s a hole in his engine so the oil we paid for them to change has all leaked out. Damaging the engine and the timing belt that’s just been replaced and costed 1.3k all because they missed a bolt.

   My son had his clutch, flywheel and nearside driveshaft replaced, on picking the car up it wasnt right car was rattling and knocking when on full lock ... took car back .. oh the knocking is just because of the new parts we've had 4 technicians look at it there's nothing wrong ... then get told the bolts holding the driveshaft into the ball joint weren't tightened properly... my son was on the motorway at the weekend with my 3 year old grandson in the car and funnily enough now you've tightened the loose bolts there's no rattle so it was obviously not because it was "new parts" . Could of been a serious accident because of the multiple technicians incompetence. Used to be a great garage wouldn't trust them to change a bicycle wheel .....

   Excellent customer service with great communication, had an MOT done which cost £45 which is very reasonable compared to other places. My advisories weren't listed for some reason? You'll need to book in advance though, as Carmex seems very busy at times but that's usually a good thing.

   Recently took my car here to have a fault diagnosed. Left it with them for a couple of hours. They charged me over £30 to have a look and diagnose the problem and quote for a repair. I was abit sceptical of the faults they said and the amount so I got a second opinion. Turns out it wasn't the issue they had said as I predicted and the second opinion saved me a couple of hundred quid as the part they had said was causing the problem was fine.
