Excellent in ripping you off , but not solving any problems. I had an error code on the dash showing low air flow on the system. 200£ diagnostic and they quoted for 410£ on maf sensor- done it all and the problem was still there. Mechanic said he checked for air leaks - I went true my CCTV and gues what .. he did it without a smoke machine.. so that was a lie. Next thing they quoted me for 600£ on software upgrade and that is when I stopped it. Went to another garage - 10 min and the fault was located- stuck egr valve. Cannot believe that a Mechanic cannot identify egr problem on a diesel van... for me it was intentional. Avoid at all cost and do not give them reviews on the first vist ( they will ask you for it )

Poor experience. Initially wanted to charge me a 5 hour diagnostic (close to £500) to look at a malfunctioning boot mechanism explaining they need to check all the wiring . It was clearly a mechanical issue with the locking mechanism which was identified and sorted very quickly by another garage. They were also looking to sort some dash warning Lights that had appeared stop they did a diagnostic and identified it as a wheel sensor issue. I had to pay for the diagnostic and New wheel sensor stop this did not resolve the issue and they told me that it was actually a wiring issue that had developed between the time of the diagnostics and change of the wheel sensor. They advised it would cost me a three hour Diagnostic. Overall, I’m very dissatisfied with The service. Would not recommend and I am taking my car elsewhere

I made the call at 1pm and my battery was fitted at 3:45pm. Very pleased with the service and more than happy to recommend them.

AVOID USING THIS PLACE. After originally having a diagnostic which showed 2 faults (alternator and injector seal) I agreed for the job to be carried out at a cost of £1500. I then received a call stating that they have found a fault with the timing chain and aux belt. After questioning why this wasn't detected initially they said that they only recognised it once they spotted it??? I asked on the call once this job is complete the car will run smooth again? To which the answer was yes. To repair it cost me an additional £1300. I received another phone call saying the mechanics cant get the timing belt lined up and they "think" it must be an internal engine problem and to check if thats the case it would be an additional £500 or the alternative is a whole new engine. After asking why would I pay £500 for a problem you don't even know exists they said that this was the only thing they could recommend. They told me the car will not start unless they can fix this issue but I explained to them that the car started fine when the mechanic originally completed the diagnostic and this is there issue not mine - no joy. I refused this job and was told I could receive a refund of parts only as labour costs have already been paid I agreed to this. After 3 days of calling them to arrange a refund all I kept getting told was my "my supervisor has to sort this hes not here at the moment" I eventually turned up to the garage and was told there had been confusion and the only part I can be refunded for was the timing chain as this was yet to be fitted. Add to this the absolute state of my car - dirty hand marks all over, the engine not put back to its original state and parts just left in the boot. This place needs to be closed down they are looking to do one thing and that is exploit people out of as much money as possible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Rang FastFit centre yesterday after a problem with our Range Rover gear selector not selecting/stuck in park. For the sake of ease and convenience opted for their mobile mechanic to attend. Dave arrived prompt at 0945 less than an hour after I initially called. Dave thoroughly cleaned the unit and retested. Pleased to report all is now well. Dave was super polite and very friendly. Would have no hesitation of using this firm again.

Be very cautious about using this company. Took a campervan in for some advice and they asked me to come back so they can look at it so called and booked it in with absolutely nothing discussed about charges. When I returned to collect it they charged me £90 for 'diagnostics' despite telling me there was nothing wrong with it. They told me they would listen to the recorded call in which they didn't mention a cost once and come back to me but they never have. I've never known of a garage to charge anyone for looking at a van to tell you what is wrong with it and they deliberately avoided discussing this. I still don't know what I have actually paid for. Very untrustworthy so be careful.

Just a quick partial review of the customer service only (the actual work on my van is not yet complete, so I’ll update it later, along with the final rating). I’ve mainly dealt with Tony, but I’ve found the team helpful, friendly and never a pain to deal with. Looking forward to hearing back from Tony next week, when the van is ready. Update: van is now home, in fact it was delivered back to me, free of charge, as I could not collect it when ready (family crisis) - they needed the space at the garage, but I really appreciated it all the same. The van is driving and sounding better than ever after a new timing belt, water pump and pulleys etc., plus a full service. It did take six weeks due to a problem sourcing parts and difficulty getting the timing right again but these things happen. Overall, I am happy and pleased with the work carried out.

I have had 2 full headlight units replaced about 5 months by Fastlane St Helens and the work they did was excellent. I have just put in to MOT and there was an issue with the lamps not adjusting. I took the vehicle back to be looked at and they have been absolutely excellent in every sense. Scott at front of house was brilliant in keeping me informed and letting me know when things would be progressing and what is wrong. Tony took responsibility for making sure the work was looked at and done and has explained everything throughout. They took lots of time and resolved the issue with no charge despite it being something that is not directly a result of them fitting the lamps in the first place. Great service and thorough work!
