I needed help with fixing headlight, as the MOT center where I got my MOT done found an issue with it and subsequently failed my MOT inspection. Of course, they couldn’t fix the issue and suggested that I get a new one (£500-600) or check with some other garage. I decided to check with Chester Auto Service, and what an amazing experience it was! A nice young lady at the reception showed empathy when I told her about my situation. Despite her busy diary, she went above and beyond to help me. She was genuinely concerned and wanted to assist, and she did. She spoke to her professional colleagues, who fixed the issue in less than 10 minutes. The engineer even came out of his workshop to explain what he had done. It was such a great experience! The most impressive part is that they didn’t charge me a penny! I highly recommend this professional team with an amazing customer service approach. They’re one of the best I’ve come across. Took my car in for m.o.t. They failed it stating corroded front disc breaks and broken suspension coil and sent me home with paperwork that stated do not drive due to dangerous faults. Also quoted me £460 for repairs. Told them I use my own mechanic who then discovered the brake discs were fine and there was no break in my suspension coil. In his words my car was road worthy. I then chose to take it toa different garage at extra cost for an m.o.t. On inspection they confirmed what my mechanic had told me and stated they would not hesitate to pass it due to not being able to find anything wrong with it. I was deprived of my car for a week due to their actions. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
A HONEST PROFESSIONAL GARAGE!! I took my Mercedes A45 here on a recommendation and after being told my track rod end on the drivers side was seized and needed replacing. Mercedes weren’t interested in checking it out and instead gave me a quote of £800 for the replacement of the two. (Not sure what they were replacing them with at that cost)? Dean at Chester Auto Service checked both plus the full suspension and gave the car a full check over and said it was in mint condition with no issues at all and no £800 cost. lol If you want a professional garage with professional HONEST staff then I would highly recommend this garage. I now won’t be going anywhere else. Thanks again.
Thanks for inviting me to book my car service with you by sending me a no-reply text message, but I'm afraid after last year's experience I most definitely won't be doing that. The annual service of a 7000 mile Fiat 500 at Chester Auto Services cost more than we have ever paid at any other garage during the 8 years of ownership. The previous most expensive annual service was at Stoneacre a Fiat main dealer which rang in at £228 for a service, including brake fluid change and an MOT. They even washed and vacuumed the car and sent us a video report of the vehicle condition, Chester Auto Services service without brake fluid change came in at an eye watering £247. You also proposed unnecessarily changing the cam belt on the car with 7000 miles (yes seven thousand miles not seventy thousand). You pay your money and you take your choice.....we certainly won't be going back to Chester Auto Services and would appreciate not receiving unsolicited text messages or in fact any kind of spam from you too.
Lovely and friendly staff. Easy to book an appointment, was advised to bring my car in the morning for my light to be changed after changing the light they also fixed my tyres which was very helpful and good of them. Very quick and even got it back in time to get to work on time. Would highly recommend!
All staff are friendly yet professional and the service is superb and prices are very reasonable will go out of their way to help you. I highly recommend this garage, I have been over time with different issues and I have not been disappointed once.i have a taxi and they have got me back on the road everytime
