Amazing quality and value. Beautifully presented and perfectly cooked all round, including runny yolks in the eggs. It felt like I was robbing them at the price they charged. Very friendly staff too. Highly recommend.

Great service! The waitress who took my order was attentive and took her time explaining the menu, especially when I asked about halal options. I ended up choosing item 11, which came with delicious halal beef sausages. The two eggs were perfectly cooked, and the yolk had a great flavor. The latte came in a large cup and was included with the meal. My friend had a baguette. I felt totally stuffed afterward! Two different waiters also came by to check if everything was good, which we appreciated. We spoke with the owner as well, who was lovely i dont understand all the previous bad reviews . The place was full of families, and we chose to sit outside since the weather was nice.
The food is pretty good staff are friendly and helpful the place is clean the portions are very good. It is just a shame the tables and sign boards spill over to the pavement. I have seen women’s with kids and prays struggle to get past. For that reason alone I left 3 stars.
Came to take our son Scott for brunch he is at Royal Holloway and he recommended this family owed diner. Staff were very attentive, big smiles and the full English with bubble and squeak absolutly fantastic and very well priced. Great cafe and we will be back!

This is one of the best all-day breakfast cafes I have ever visited. The service was very fast, the cafe was clean, bright and presentable, Staff were all friendly and attentive, the menu variety was broad, pricing was fair and food was tasty and well-cooked. There were plenty of staff working when I visited and I felt the team working here were busy but not overworked, which is the right balance. Other breakfast cafes should take note of how Golden Cafe runs.
We visit regularly - at least once or twice a month - and the food and service is always excellent. Freshly cooked, good portions and great value. Photo is set breakfast 3.
