   Had to take refuge in this lovely little place as I’d locked myself out. My daughter and I arrived as food was finishing but Nathan very kindly offered food if my daughter wanted it. We ordered coffee and a milkshake and my daughter loved the strawberry cheesecake milkshake. The atmosphere was lovely. Nathan didn’t even rush us out when it was time to close as he knew we were locked out. He was very hospitable and made what could have been a pain situation very pleasant and relaxing. And I even managed to keep working with use of the shop WiFi. Thank you very much Nathan.

   Have come here a couple times, staff always friendly and polite. Bagels are amazing, and ask for siracha in my avo and hummus bagel without an issue which is yum. Bagels are £10 eating in which is a bit tough but worth it on the occasion :)

   Great mocha and vegan mozzarella and tomato panini!!! The cheese was so good in it - like the real thing. My second visit and would definitely come back again. Even more vegan options would be amazing, eg. cakes. Staff member was a bit quiet

   TBH I've not gone to any of the other cafés in Claygate as yet but four times now at this one including today. Sun shining so I sat outside and how nice they provide soft warm blankets! Coffee is good as are they toasted sarnies/paninis and excellent service. Guess i should check others out but once I take to somewhere good I kinda stick with it.

   We have been regular visitors at Capital for a number of years now and have always been impressed by the friendly staff, the great coffee and food as well as the general atmosphere. But we have been most delighted to see the recent facelift to the interior and love the fact that art produced by two local artists adorn the walls and are for sale. What a great idea. Well done Team Capital!

   Stopped here for a quick bite of lunch whilst hiking in Surrey. The staff were friendly, the coffee was delicious as were our Tuna Melt Paninis and the cakes we enjoyed as a treat to keep us going on our 20 km winter walk. It is a lovely place to relax and enjoy coffee inside the cafe but we also noticed several people enjoying the winter sunshine and sitting outside.

   Monday 6th September,Arrived mid afternoon, party of 4 elderly, sat down at outside table in the sun, no other customers ,staff showed no interest , I then went inside, asked for menus , no menus ! just look at board inside, very limited choice, floor inside and out scruffy covered in dead leaves, unimpressed we got up and left, very disappointed
