    We recently bought a car and have been very happy with the service we received. From the initial contact to collecting Martyn has been a legend. We travelled a long way to collect the car, so there was a risk in having travelled close to a 520 mile round trip from Kent that the car wouldn’t be as expected when we got there, but we were very happy. Looking forward to many happy miles in our new (to us) Mini! Thank you!

    BE CAREFUL – PLEASE READ - Do not buy an executive or luxury car from this garage. If everything is 100% fine with the car you are looking to buy then you will probably be fine. If anything is wrong you will be expected to pay for everything. Senior management and the owners buy higher end cars for themselves to drive and put them up for sale. I bought one of these cars that the owners wife had been driving for a few months. The asking price was reasonable, now the issues. From the photo’s they had posted when acquired on their website she had curbed each wheel multiple times but I had to pay for the refurb of these. Checking the tyres x3 felt bald, they replaced x1 a month before, replaced x1 as it failed MOT and I was told to pay £100 towards each of the other two as they passed the MOT but I never saw the test and frankly don’t believe this. The car had a valet but still had hair bobbles wrapped around the gear stick and in the storage compartment. The car was showing x1 service (it was 7 years old) but I was told repeatedly by the sales manager not to worry, it probably would have been done but not logged. I took it to an independent, specialist garage and they informed me that no service had been done for years, all the filters were black and the major 4 years service hadn’t been done at all. It cost me £1,900 to get this done and they contributed £150 towards it… It would have been £4,800 at Porsche. It is obvious that the cars the owners buy to drive then sell are not looked after at all. The warranty they put on the car has a maximum claim limit of £1k.. on a Porsche.. so worthless and I had to pay for an upgrade, they refused. After driving home I noticed a double stone chip in the windscreen behind the rear view mirror which is why I hadn’t seen it before, they obviously refused to pay for or contribute towards the cost of a new windscreen – it isn’t repairable. Again I was told, just drive it and wait for it to break, that’s what we would do. I would avoid at all costs but if you do decide to buy a car here then get an independent survey done on the car and get Luxcarz to pay to get the car right before you pay any money. A very unpleasant experience.

    I have just bought a car at CMH. Absolutely cannot fault anything from the beginning to the end of the process. When I originally came to view the car, I didn't feel like they were pushing me to buy, which is something that I hate when buying something. All staff were really friendly, approachable. Allowed us to test drive the car and answered any questions we had. I noticed some dents on the car that I was interested in and the staff here fixed it and also said that they would do any advisories that came back on the MOT which is something they have no obligation of doing, which is amazing and gave me peace of mind that my car was going to be fine to drive. They talked me through everything they had done and the car came with 6 months warranty and breakdown cover, which also adds to the peace of mind. I would not hesitate in using this garage again, or in recommending them for exceptional customer service and lowering the stress of buying a new car. Thanks so much for all your help.
