The man in the showroom spoke to me like I was a 5 year old child… I would not advise going to this location. Chose a different, more friendly site. By the looks of it another post a week ago from TP confirms what I’m saying. WBAC you need to send this fella on some educational courses…
The guy, Johnathan I think his name was, is honestly one of the worst people I’ve ever come across in my life. Speaks down to you, finds problems out of no where, it took everything in me to not tell him about himself. I’ve worked in car finance for 15 years so I’m pretty clued up on my stuff but this Johnathan was just literally pulling all kinds out the bag whilst talking to you like you’re thick. Can tell he’s sat in a box all day, zero people skills. There are other WBAC local to here, Widnes, Prescot so I’d honestly go there cause this man is horrendous. Went back just cause I had an apt and another lad was covering who was so much more nicer and pleasant to deal with, I was honestly relieved when I saw it wasn’t the other guy cause I was dreading going in, the lad covering was genuinely nice and I had a good chat with him.
Took my car to them after an on line quote, guy who inspected it in St Helens branch (kiosk) was making things up finding issues that weren't there (didn't my car then had just had a thorough inspection by the manufacturer main dealer who went through every inch of the car/engine and issued a report of great condition of the car), the guy knocked over £1000 off of the already very low on line quote, I said no thanks and drove away! Few weeks later sold my car for much more than what these offer you!! Their offers aren't based on the actual value of your car, they'll offer you a lot less because they assume you're desperate to sell
The service was quick and easy and I got a great price.
Just sold my car today at We Buy Any Car St. Helens. The lad who looked after me was great. (Didn't get his name but he mentioned he took over the hub - whoever his manager is needs to give him some credit as he had excellent customer service skills) He was really polite, chatty and friendly, spoke to me whilst looking around my car. He was also really efficient and we quickly had a quote which I thought was exceptionally fair and I was really happy with.
Very positive experience with the rep from the St Helens branch. Speedy and super helpful. Explained the process throughout and delivered the best possible price so we came away with the best deal for us.
Just sold our car at We Buy Any Car St. Helens and Machek the lad who looked after us was great. He was really polite, chatty and friendly. He was also really efficient and we quickly had a quote which we were happy with. The only negative thing I would make comment on is the "transaction" fee which was £75. Other than that fantastic service from Machek and a fair price all things considered.
