Great local cafe, ideal for breakfast/lunch or just brunch. Very reasonably priced and very popular with locals, can get quite busy around noon.

It's a lovely location to grab a hot drink. It has a takeaway hatch, making it a very accessible cafe. Oat milk hot chocolate was so creamy, perfect for a Sunday morning. Vegan raspberry doughnut tasted lovely, a little on the drier side but better than expected for a vegan doughnut. A good selection of pastries on display for takeaway. Service was about 10 mins, pretty quick, considering the long queue that they had. Very walkable, close to train station.

The brunch at Hopper & Bean Local was a bit of a mixed bag. The local itself was delightful, with plenty of space inside and outdoor seating available too. However, during our visit, there was no music playing and a man was noisily fixing something with a drill, which was a bit off-putting in a full establishment. The service was pleasant but a tad rushed, suggesting that the food might have been pre-made. Unfortunately, both of our brunch dishes lacked flavor and seemed to be made with cheap ingredients. While the meal concepts were appealing, the execution fell short. One highlight of our visit was the delicious smoothies. Overall, the experience at Hopper & Bean Local was somewhat disappointing due to the mediocre food quality. When we requested the bill, the staff responded with a "one moment" and left us waiting for quite a while. Eventually, we had to pay at the cashier without any apology. The staff seemed busy and unconcerned about the overall experience of our visit. Food is quite expensive for what you have at all in our opinion . A few practical notes: parking is available except for permits between 10:30 and 11:30 am, there are toilet facilities, and the venue is wheelchair accessible.

Lovely food. Service is excellent and the staff very friendly. It is a must visit for either a quick coffee and cake or brunch/lunch. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Gluten free options available for the main menu and even sweet treats! The gluten free peanut butter blonde is delicious.

Lovely breakfast and brunch place! My waffles and oat milk mocha was amazing!

Food was okay, pancakes did not have much taste but toppings were good. Atmosphere is a busy coffee shop so buzzing and natural atmosphere.

The place was overall quite busy and noisy. There was no music. We also had to wait longer to be served. The homemade beans were not our kind of taste. The cumberland sausage was big and tasted good. You're able to swap veg for veg or meat for meat. The carrot cake was DELICIOUS! 5*** for it only. Absolutely lovely and definitely recommend it. We had it for take away. I recommend the place.

This is a nice popular spot in the Winchmore Hill area. Food is reasonably priced and the customer service is decent too. I opted for a Chai Latte and a 3 egg omelette. My omelette was nicely presented and was bright yellow, this tells me the eggs were extremely fresh which is great. The little bowl of slaw which came with it was very nice as well. The salad was decent and came with a little dressing. I'm not 100% sure how fresh the salad was or if indeed it was washed before being plated but I ate it nonetheless. My chai latte was nice, however I love my hot drinks to be piping hot and I was literally able to down this drink in one go. Would I go again? Yes I would, I've been a few times before and this won't be the last time.
