I was very happy to find a cafe that had a strong vegan offering for brunch when I researched online. However, when we came in the gentleman serving told us that the chef wasn’t available and the menu offering will be more limited. I thought it was really good the he managed our expectations as soon as we walked in, rather than let us choose what we wanted and then gradually reveal each dish not being available. I did worry whether I’d get something vegan and tasty but he didn’t let me down. I enjoyed a wonderfully fresh open sandwich/toast with smashed avocado, sun dried tomatoes and extremely fresh salad leaves, with tomato slices. My sister enjoyed hulumi bagel and my mum had smoked salmon and cream cheese. Mum said the coffee was good and she’s hard to please with coffee! I had a delicious strawberry based smoothie made with apple juice. I am sure we will be back, even though I no longer live in the area.

We just discovered this cafe and it was a beautiful gem of a place. The vegan food and children's play area first attracted us to it. The vegan breakfast was one of the best we'd eaten and the coffee was great too.

It's basic and very vegan/vegie but the food is decent enough. The prices are a little high. The smoothies are great.

I love the Wilds. A good local cafe, with imaginative breakfast and lunch options, lots of choices for vegans and a welcoming atmosphere.

Really delicious food and great coffee. The restaurant isn’t huge but they’ve made a space at the back for the kids to play with provided toys and books! Staff are really friendly and the price is reasonable The only mark down is not within their control and that is the road just outside is main road through New Barnet and is very noisy and polluted. I wouldn’t want to sit outside which is a shame as the cafe is extremely good. However, If your in the area it’s the place to go!

A friend recommended this place. The food is amazing. Simple healthy menu yet so flavourful and satisfying! Small, quaint cafe and family friendly. They have a selection of toys to keep my toddler busy. A little pricey compared to surrounding cafes but well worth it. Would definitely come again.

Wow!!!!! What an amazing find this place was. We had the most amazing boozy brunch! I was blown away by the vegan fry up, huge and full of flavour. BF had the best eggs benedict. Please visit the gorgeous place, wonderful food, amazing staff! The cakes are absolutely delicious too, think I found a new favourite spot!

A lovely hidden gem just opposite Sainsburys in New Barnet. Really lovely relaxed atmosphere. Great coffee and even better food. I had Halloumi, mushrooms and poached eggs on sourdough bread and it was delicious.
