   PLEASE AVOID THIS SERVICE Extremely scary experience for my sister visiting us in the UK. She booked this taxi service from Old Trafford. The driver, while getting of the highway, said he was putting off the maps as he didn't want to charge her more than £30, much before her destination. She told him not to. He then drove past the destination driving the taxi to various lanes moving away from her arrival point. She insisted he stop, but he refused. She the opened the taxi door midway and forced him to stop. We called the taxi service and were told the message would be given to the manager. DEFINITELY A BIG ZERO- NOT SURE IF DRIVERS ARE VERIFIED WOTH BACKGROUND CHECKS

   *DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY* Booked here two weeks in advance for a short journey (around 25 mins) with a number of 12 people requiring transport. Called a couple days before to confirm and the taxi company had the number of people wrong, this was corrected and I was promised they would arrive on time. On the day of the event I had a missed called from the company who I called back and spoke with one of the female employees. She assured me the taxis would be on time. I then got another call and spoke to male employee who informed me that there were no taxis free anymore. I asked how on earth it can be acceptable to state that 10 minutes before the taxi was due and he stated that he had tried to call me earlier to explain. When I replied that I had returned that call and had been assured they would arrive he had no explanation or apology. Overall, extremely poor organisation and poor communication skills. If you use this service you are at risk of them cancelling last minute, regardless of how much notice you give them.

   Absolutely excellent service! Pre booked 4 taxis over a 2 day period for a festival. They were polite and helpful when booking. The drivers were already waiting for us on collection at night from the festival and got us home really quickly. Very affordable, would 100% recommend.

   !!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Absolutely awful and quite frankly scary service. Me and a number of friends booked a taxi with echo and were told it would be a 30/40 minute wait. This turned out to be over an hour and a half waiting on the side of the road. Every time we rang we were told the phone operator was not sure where the taxi was but was no longer than 30 minutes away. Each time we rang we were told it would be another 30 minutes and eventually got hung up on after trying to have a reasonable conversation. Me and 2 others then got in our vehicle while the others got in theirs. The driver of my taxi insisted we payed in cash and stopped at a cash machine. This was in the middle of a desolate Tesco car park and had 3/4 young males in hoodies perched against it. Only after I persisted that I would not get money out here did the driver drive off. He then went to another service station but they did not have a cash point. I told him there was a cash point opposite my house (the destination) so he agreed and carried on with the drive. I rang my friend who was in the other car, booked with the same company and she had paid via Apple Pay. I asked if I could pay with Apple Pay to which he simply replied ‘no, I have no machine’. When we arrived close to the destination he started asking me directions despite the sat nav directing him. He then stopped the car about 5 minutes from the destination and demanded I give him my phone as I had not paid him (I was mid-directing him to the cash point at the end of my road). I point blank refused to give him my phone for obvious reasons when he started getting agitated and insisted I gave my phone. When we finally arrived at the cash point by my house he stopped the car and pulled out a card machine, and said ‘Apple Pay is better for me’. After we had taken 3 detours for cash points, I had to direct him, and got shouted at and demanded to give my phone in the process. We eventually agreed to pay via card and were told we would be charged a set price. He then quickly altered the amount while I tapped my card so I payed £10 more than i should have. When I confronted him about this he initially denied it and then offered me the £10 cash back. The whole experience was extremely stressful and came across threatening. As 3 young women who were alone we were very concerned at the demanding of our personal items and frantic nature of this drive. 0/10, will never be using this service again.

   Booking the taxi was hard work I had to repeat the address multiple times. I asked her if I could pay by card and she confirmed I could. On the morning it was 15 mins late which was a lot when you are heading to the airport. I was only flying local so wasn’t getting there hours before. I only live an 18 min drive away and he didn’t put the meter on. He then told me it was £36 on arrival as a fixed fare. I questioned it and he mentioned the drop off charge which is fine if that had just been added to the standard charge. He agreed to call it £30 which means they are just making prices up. I also was then told I couldn’t pay by card. I needed a receipt for work which he couldn’t provide, he gave me his taxi card. Terrible experience, now I know why I use Uber. Avoid.

   Having been let down by another taxi service, I needed to get multiple cabs booked in a short space of time. Manchester Taxis were extremely friendly and professional, and handled my complex request with care. They were accommodating when I needed to amend a booking at the last minute, and all drivers delivered a friendly and amazing service. Now you guys will always be my first choice if I need taxi services.

   Great service. Incredibly reliable and good communication. Manchester United Taxis provided emails with contact information and updates about pickup. The driver was courteous, and we enjoyed talking with him during our drive to the airport. It was incredibly easy and we plan on using again!!!! Highly recommended them
