   What a gorgeous little quant pub!! Feels like you are miles away from any busy area! Fairy lights, cosy feel and incredible energy from the staff making you feel like you are one of their regular returning locasl! I believe Tom was the name of the chap who served us, super friendly and chatty! Isha ? (Not sure if I have remembered her name correctly) was just as friendly and warming! If you are looking for gorgeous well presented food and a cosy pub, don't hesitate!

   Fantastic all around. Food was full of taste, really fresh and very busy place. Atmosphere is incredible relaxing. We just walk in and there was fully booked but the staff so friendly,they suggested to haven a drink and waiting for the table to be ready. They make feel so comfortable, that why we are extremely pleased!! Highly recommend...

   We had our daughter’s christening party here over the weekend and the team were absolutely amazing. A huge shout out to Amber, Rod, and George - you truly went above and beyond!! The food was fantastic — so many of our guests commented on how delicious everything was. From helping with preparations and decorating, to sorting out drinks ahead of time and even organising the music, you made sure the whole day ran seamlessly. We couldn’t recommend The Royal Oak enough for a special occasion. Thank you so so much for making our celebration so memorable! — Sarah & Tom

   This was our first stop for our stay in Watford, recommended to us by our host! The food and drinks were amazing with the lamb shank and bangers and mash being a 10/10. Also the espresso martinis (not pictured) were delicious. The owner and his staff were friendly and the pub experience overall was great!

   Absolutely wonderful food, excellent service and super dog friendly to boot. They even have Doggie Sausages on the printed menu's, which I loved, as did my dog!!! I would highly recommend this place :o)

   Visited here for the wake of a good friend. A warm welcome and a superb spread of South African flavoured food. The afternoon went by very quickly and will live long in the memory. There was a pleasant atmosphere in the pub. The only down side is there is not much parking outside, but less than 100 metres away is a small car park for Oxhey Grange Playing Fields and Bowls Club.

   We love the Royal Oak for many reasons, the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The drinks selection is spot on, the food is amazing and the location on the green is fantastic! Outdoor area with heaters, places to park motorcycles and cars plus, they show the latest sports as well as have bands and events throughout the year. If you're considering going, GO! We will be coming again (and again) Harley-Davidson and Triumph Team

   Hosted a baby shower here yesterday and it couldn’t have been better. I first asked George the day before as we had a problem with our other venue and she got it sorted for me to use the outside area so fast! When we arrived, they made everything so easy and everything ran smoothly. The bar service was friendly and brilliant and the manager was so accommodating. The landlady came down to see us and check we were okay and she was so warm and friendly. We had the most brilliant time and would recommend this beautiful pub to anyone! All of the guests thought it was excellent and had such a good time. I am so glad the other venue didn’t work out as it couldn’t have been better.

   Nice place where go to enjoy the time, beautiful cover garden at side of the bar. It is a lovely place they has staff from diferentes countries and the food is nice and tasty. The only bad think is they no has parking and is a bit difficult to found parking place.
