I come regularly to Ram Jam - the food is consistently good, whether it's the classic burger or the premium Jacob's Ladder beef rib. The staff are exhausting to watch as they all seem to switch seamlessly between welcoming guests, serving drinks, taking food orders, serving the food AND managing the technical requirements of the (always excellent) live bands. It's such a warm, welcoming vibe - it's probably a good thing I don't live closer!

Saw T J Johnson here - he is always first class - but the venue was great and a massive thank you yo the lady doing the table service - she made sure the drinks kept coming - and a very happy dispisition

Went to the Friday comedy store for the first time. The venue is great, atmosphere is cool and staff are friendly. The first 2 acts were excellent and really good comedians. We were then thinking the final act would be special, oh how wrong we were. The act was very old fashioned and not in a good way, it was misogynistic, not witty or talented in any way and plain rude. The comedian, portrayed himself as a philanderer and gift to women, his behaviour towards some girls at the front was sleazy and offensive. Luckily my partner felt compelled to leave at this point, resulting in an awful end to the evening. The comedians final comedy (?) song was about big women which summed the whole act up. My partner and I were not alone in being offended, with other fellow members of the audience expressing their support. I appreciate comedy is personal and it's just words, but this one act really let the club and other acts down.

TLDR: An absolute must if you are in Kingston Upon Thames or even close by. This is such an intimate spot. It is behind a relatively nondescript door at the back of the main restaurant just before the washrooms/WC/Toilets. The space is extremely small but the party is lively. A good spot for two people or one. I wouldn't recommend a big party. There just isn't the space. The live entertainment was excellent. The bar tenders/servers were really polite and friendly and the drinks were flowing. I could easily see myself being a regular here. I would give six stars if I could.

Great live music venue attached to a great pub with stunningly good barbecue, and huge side orders that a vegan can love, too. Excellent menu for paleo, too.

Fantastic little venue in the back of the Grey Horse Pub. Jazz on thursdays and Blues at the weekend, with special events throught the year. The drinks from the main pub can be brought into the club, with a vast choice of whiskeys and cocktails that perfectly accompany the music. Lovely atmosphere and range of acts, there will always be something fantastic on or new to discover. Highly recommended.

Really great atmosphere and a good night out! Ram Jam is the music area of The Grey Horse, so make sure you book the right section! When we went, there was a live band playing called The Good Stuff, who were brilliant! Tickets were £10 per person online. The food here is also really good. Our waiter recommended the Jacobs Ladder Beef Rib, which was falling off the bone and smoked with a rich bbq sauce! Great drinks selection too - Bourbons don't have a menu but ask the waiter because the collection is extensive!
