We booked a table for 3 at the Steam Packet on a busy Sunday, and were pleased to be seated at a nice spot. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Despite being full, the staff finds time for a chat or to explain the menu. We ordered the turkey roast, beef roast and Malaysian fish curry - all were cooked to our liking. We particularly like the big Yorkshire pudding that comes with the roast. Deserts were equally tasty. Big shout out to chef Guy and Taleb, our server. What a lovely joyful character !The second time we dined there and certainly not the last.

Family birthday celebration. My choice pork belly was possibly the best I have had. We were all extremely happy with our meals. Also two good ales to choose from. Service was very good although we had to wait a while to order due to it being a busy Sunday. Staff were very helpful and attentive. With drinks it was about Β£42 per person. We could of spent less but chose not to on this occasion.

βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ The Steam Packet, Chiswick A wonderful little gastro pub by the river, full of charm and warmth. The staff were genuinely friendly, honest, down to earth people who clearly care about what they do. The food was delicious, freshly made and beautifully presented. From the baked camembert and smoky wings to the padron peppers, everything tasted spot on and comforting. The atmosphere felt relaxed and human, no pretence, just good people serving great food and drink. The mulled wine was lovely with a shot of amaretto, all served with a smile.

Lovely place to stop for a drink - popped by with a friend on our way to an event and enjoyed a glass of wine on the balcony. Perfect place to take in the evening sun with a lovely view of the river. Sometimes they have tables out - good for watching the sunset. Staff are attentive and friendly, good array of drinks to pick from. Relaxed atmosphere - lots of people tucking into food around us, we didnβt eat but it looked delish. Had visited a little while back, but definitely seems to have improved in the last year.

Very quaint pub by the river. All the staff were friendly & professional and keen for you to spend. They kept checking our glasses and suggesting more.... Overall, the food was good but one meal came out cold but they were quick to ez rectify that. We had the steak burger & chips, beer battered fish and chips, two chicken & leak pies mashed potato and veg & some sides of halloumi fries and cauliflower cheese. The food was very nice and the portion size was OK.

Nice balcony overlooking the river. Friendly staff on the whole, gets busy on local match days as you'd expect. Good size portion of cod and chips.

Popped in for lunch on Saturday and was extremely happy with everything. Beautiful Building inside and out, split over 2 floors. Food was delicious as was the lager which both was fairly priced for the area. Good selection of ales/beers on tap. Excellent deal on a Friday for Fish & Fizz offer. Staff polite and professional. Relaxed atmosphere and a great location.

Great food and relaxed atmosphere. We got the chicken liver pate and a few other starters, as well as the mushroom pie. Everything is tasty and sitting on the terrace youβll have a river view of the Thames and Kew bridge with summer freeze. Highly recommended!

The setting is nice with view on the Thames. They have a 1st floor and a balcony where we were lucky to have a table. Food was nice but my partner and I found it pricey for what it was

Good location, enjoy the bridge and river view on the Strand on the green, I canβt say the food is super delicious but good to have your drinks and snacks on their balcony on 1st floor on a sunny day.
