What a disappointment! I recommend this place to my co workers for our dinner and drinks, as a friend of mine used to work here and I always thought the vibe and food was good. Shame! We were a group of 7, on a Saturday night about 7ish. We were sat down and ignored from the start. 2 members of FOH on a Saturday night and a bar crawl service is bound be a little busy. However 45 MINUTES for a pornstar martini, which we asked 3 times for, including my dinner is where I draw the line. Promises of menus brought to us, yet we had to go find and get them ourselves. Waiting an hour and a half and still no acknowledgement of our table. Half the table's food brought out with 10-15 minutes in-between the other half. I had half a mind to go up and grab it myself as I could see it sat under the lights. The barman was rude to us when we asked where our food and drinks were, and the manager seemed far more concerned on his phone or outside then managing the pub and our issues. We even witnessed kitchen staff serving tables! We were there nearly 3 hours for a simple 1 course dinner and a single round of drinks. I will never be recommending this pub or this company to anyone ever again! Embarrassing is the best way to describe the whole evening.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Terrible experience with Spread Eagle Wandsworth dining restaurant. Booked a table for 12 online for a work Christmas dinner for 8pm. Phoned them on day of booking to confirm. Was told someone would phone me back. No one did. I phoned them the day after and was told it is fine. Received an email confirmation for booking for 8pm. When day arrived phoned them a few hours before turning up to confirm again and was told booking was confirmed. When my colleagues turned up for the dinner at 7.45pm they were told the kitchen is closing in 10mins as they thought our booking was for 7pm. Devastatingly disappointing, were treated terribly. My colleagues had to find somewhere else to dine nearby in a panic. Thank goodness for Brew Dog down the road, you saved our evening out. Spread Eagle your booking process and customer service is a shambles.

Excellent venue for a very enjoyable Sunday lunch. Roast beef was delicious and cooked perfectly. Friendly, unfussy service and very good value. Will certainly eat there again.

I recently visited The Spread Eagle and had a wonderful experience. The pub looked especially charming with its beautiful Christmas decorations, which made the atmosphere feel warm and festive. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout the evening, adding to the overall great vibe. I ordered the pork T-bone, which was absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. It was definitely the highlight of my meal. Overall, it was a lovely evening, and I’d happily return. Highly recommended!

Had my father’s wake at this beautiful location last Friday, which was held in the separate function room. Staff were conscientious, kind, compassionate & caring. They went above and beyond for us. Making sure every detail was on point. The food was delicious, generous portions for the buffet. Was fantastic quality. Thank you for making an unpleasant experience into a manageable one. Was such a beautiful send off for him.

I loved my stay at The Spread Eagle. The hotel is comfortable, stylish, and quiet. The bathtub was really nice to have while watching a show to unwind during a stressful work trip. Everything was very clean and new, the temperature control was great, with an AC unit I could set myself. Highly recommend.

Absolutely lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon in this beautifully refurbished pub, enjoyed a perfectly chilled rosé and the most delicious pork roast, not to mention the jam roly poly just like ‘my mum used to make’- delicious! Attention to detail is fabulous, even down to the cutlery and crockery. Great service, couldn’t fault a thing and would thoroughly recommend- it’s also very dog friendly and the music playlist comfortably in the background was pretty good too! Well done and thanks to the team.

This recently renovated pub has a very comfortable atmosphere, still retaining a lot of the old wood furnishings as well as having lots of interesting decorations which catch the eye. I took my partner here and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Good drinks, excellent food and superb staff. Shout out to Alex for making us feel welcome

Great to see this lovely Victorian pub reopen, and even better to see how beautifully it has been refurbished. A Grade II listed building, sympathetically restored, and retaining all of its original features. Now a boutique hotel also; a great addition to the town centre. Great selection of well kept real ales, and the food also looked good. With so many traditional pubs either closing or being changed into wine bars, it’s great to see Young’s investing in this place.
