I'm only leaving this review as I just received an email asking for it on TripAdvisor. So here it goes: On the 2nd of December, I had booked a little Christmas lunch with my colleagues for the 12th. Just 6 of us, for the second time at this pub. We don't do many socials, but we do enjoy our Christmas gatherings. We arrived at the time of booking to find the front door closed. Walked in via the garden entrance and were met by a very confused staff who told us the place was closed, as they were spending the day prepping for a large group coming later in the day. Apparently their agenda had been blocked for the whole day, but they never bother cancelling our booking which was done 10 days before, not an email, nor a phone call. They checked with the chef if they could accommodate us, but we were turned away anyway. Unsure of where to go next, we ended up having a lovely lunch in a beautiful little pub down the road who took us in without a booking. Better luck next year, I guess. We hope your big booking was a success! Merry Christmas, all

We stayed here as it was handy for an evening event we were going to. We had a friendly reception, were shown to our room, which was spacious and had everything we needed. The rooms are above a pub, if you choose to stay here be prepared for a little noise. The pub is comfy, with a great range of beers, and does a good breakfast. Well worth staying here.

Something is wrong. We were so excited to come and have the Sunday roast specially the boys as they were excited to order the giant Yorkshire pudding roast however as we entered, the staff just seemed like they could not be bothered to work. Unwelcoming and unprepared. There were no menus on the table other than the festive menus and tables were really dirty. We ordered a pot of tea and they brought one cup of tea and then another one with no spoon and did three rounds for 2 teas and milk. Where are the trays? The tea had gone cold by the time milk arrived. It was Sunday, 12:30 very quiet and yet service was bad. The food arrived and the presentation of the roast was good however the meats were totally overcooked specially the beef. It was hard, dry, blackened and we could not eat it. We ordered coke and they served flat pepsi. I could go on... It was the most disappointing lunch given there are so many other places we could have gone to. Waste of food and money. It is painful. Anyway, the pub does have many screens if you are looking to watch a game and just grab a drink with your friends. It is also spacious and have a pool table.

Had a fun night at the Halloween quiz. Great hosting by Will, yummy food and a great variety of drinks. The bar staff were very friendly and kept the drinks flowing. Thank you for an amazing night … we will be at the next one!

A really nice construct with a nice atmosphere ! Manager is welcoming. We also loved discovering the area that is very charming. However, it looses its stars from cleanliness. Bathroom was clean (with a bath, a nice surprise). But the carpet in the bedroom as well as the radiator wouldn't mind some deep cleaning.

By far my favourite local pub. Great selection of beers by the Smokehouse brewery and other guest lines. There's also a decent selections of cans in the fridge. The food portions are pretty generous and tasty - ribs night is a particular favourite. Pub is super dog friendly.

Had a lovely office Christmas meal here. The staff were friendly and couldn't seem to do enough, for us. The meal was plentiful, well cooked and most importantly hot and delicious. I had the parsnip and chestnut soup followed by the duck on what was one of the coldest days of the year so far - both of which were memorable. Desert was a twist on Eton mess which was shall we say, different. Nine out of ten for effort, overall.

Visiting from New Zealand and what a place to stay!! Beautiful rooms, beautiful building and beautiful food at the pub downstairs. We stayed on the world cup final night so the music was rather loud but stopped at midnight, not too bad. 2 min walk from ravenscourt station where you can catch the line to the city and landmarks or other stations. Really happy that we chose to stay here! Quieter too as not in the middle of London. There's also a private entrance for hotel guests with a passcode locked gate access which means you're secure and pub guests can't access the rooms.
