Bouncers are so unbelievably rude !!!! Went outside for a minute with a friend because it was so hot and stuffy inside and wanted a bit of fresh air . We were literally having a chat by the entrance and when we tried to go back in , the bouncer didnβt let us . Not sure if this is some βpower playβ where they want to be rude to two women for no reason but he refused to let us back in??? All our friends were inside along with my jumper and coat and he was so aggressive . He eventually let us in which is why I think he was just being rude to assert some sort of dominance because he was bored . Absolutely disgusting behaviour .

Dogstar? More like Dogs**t! Incredibly rude bouncer wouldnβt let me and a few others in despite the fact that we were with groups that had tables booked with spare seats on them. No willingness to understand or compromise just rude and unfriendly. The reason given was that there were too many people inside, but a pub should know the total number of bookings and subtract this from the capacity instead of letting people walk in until youβre full and leaving people with bookings outside and in the freezing cold despite there being free seats inside. Iβve never visited anywhere that operates like this and I wonβt be visiting again.

Great pub, friendly and spacious. Very attentive to my friends dog. As they donβt have a kitchen you allowed to order food from outside.

I've been coming here fir a few years now and have enjoyed it. Sadly I had a really awful experience here on Saturday 15 december when the woman on the upstairs bar took it upon herself to throw away my nearly full drink that was placed months bar, despite the fact she could see me standing right next to it, albeit with my back turned. I understand that licenced establishments need to keep an eye out fornunattended drunks etc but in this situation it waa blindly obvious that it was mine. Furthermore, short of putting ones drinking the floor there is literally no other surface upon which to put a drink and there is no obvious notice on the bar to warn customers not to place drinks there. Are customers really expected to put drinks on the floor or dance the night away whilst holding them in their hand? When I asked what had happened to it I was shocked my the woman's obvious delight in doing this. She was practically laughing at me and was clearly relishing the meanness. I simply told her that I thought her response was not nice and walked away but it left me fuming and spoiled my evening. Please could I urge the managers to rethink their policy on drinks left on the bar or at the very least make it clear that drinks will be thrown away. The member of staff in question would also be better suited to a job that does not involved contact with customers.

Itβs a fun late night spot. Lots of space to hang out. Decor is fun. Bartenders are sexy and rude but a cool rude, like you want it kinda rude. Toilets smell, of course, but itβs where the beer youβre gunna overdrink will go so FINE!

A large pub in the heart of Brixton. During the day, it's relatively quiet, but evenings are often pretty busy. It has a backroom with a pool table (pictured) and table football (also pictured), and there's a decent selection of beers on tap. My only gripes are the seats in the backroom are pretty uncomfortable and it gets pretty cold, especially in the backroom but event in the main bar area, in the winter. Other than that, it's a fine place for a drink.
