I ordered an electric reclining sofa with usb port. First I was ignored for 6 months. When the sofa finally arrived it didnβt have the usb port and what I got isnβt what was advertised. Please which ombudsman can this company be reported to. So unfair.

Purchased a sofa in July this year via The EBay store. The sofa was delivered on time and I was so pleased with it, I ordered a matching chair on 9th Sept, via eBay paying by PayPal. Theres no sign of the chair and I sent numerous messages via email. Their website contact form and eBay contact form. I've foned several times but only get a recorded message. EBay have contacted them too. Pay Pal won't help because it's an EBay purchase and it's not covered by the EBay promise. Next step is police.!!!!

Item was not produced in the promised timeframe, info from customer service was limited, no production ETA forthcoming. They acknoweledge delays and backlogs in production. I suggested owner correct the advertised timeframe for production so customers can be more informed and decide if they wat to wait months or years for a basic sofa, but it still has not been ammended to an accurate timeframe. I was concerned the timeframe for my item would ultimately exceed the buyer protection time limit. I filed a cancellation request which the seller did not themselves willingly action and had to be escalated. Since they fought to have my honest and accurate feedback removed I am now publishing it here so buyers can be aware. Lots of similar feedback on their ebay page, although they have fought to have the comments removed the negative ratings remain and speak volumes. Anyone who has purchased from them I suggest you open a dispute whilst you still can as you are unlikely to receive your item and will be strung along indefinitely.

After giving 1 star due to long delay for delivery and not been able to speak to a staff member when I finally got a staff call me back explained delay and what has happened I finally got my furniture delivered and I must say I do apologise for shouting and leaving bad reviews I need to learn to have patience the quality of my furniture is fantastic I am really satisfied I had doubts but there was no need to have worried the delivery drivers were fantastic I tipped them 20.00 to the management of lincotes I am very sorry for my ranting but I like to add use the phone to explain to to customers . the foot stool was bigger than I thought very good value and priced once again a big thank you

BE AWAREβ¦.. Do not trust this seller!!! Informed me that the sofa has been delayed for 3 months then sends a different style sofa that was clearly used, not new as ordered or the correct sofa. Then uploads fake tracking numbers to PayPal! You may have got away with this with many others but not me!

ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. Purchased a sofa over a year ago. It has completely snapped in half and the frame is broken on one side. Tried to contact the company several times and found they have changed their company name from Simply Stylish Sofas to lincotes. No response from them regarding my complaint. Cut the bottom of the sofa open to try and rectify the issue myself to find the sofa is made up of random pieces of chipboard from what looks like old cheap kitchen cabinets. Absolutely fallen to bits. Doesnβt even deserve one star.

Made a purchase for 2 sofas in June expecting September, now we're into November and still no sofa. No customer service, no updates, no communication, nothing! Now they're advertising for Christmas "Guaranteed" delivery! Well I'll be requesting a refund or its legal action, I've had enough. Update - it's now December and I have finally received my sofas after 5 months of waiting and little communication. The sofas are great and I did manage to speak to someone about the delay. What I would suggest to the company is that they contact there customers when there is going to be an issue and keep in contact with them until it's resolved, paying so much money for an item warranty being reassured that you will received your item. Also a permanent voicemail service instead of a real person at the end of the phone doesn't reassure anyone or give you much confidence that you will received your item.

Terrible service! Waiting for a sofa that isnβt going to arrive. No customer service at all. I had to call them and ask where my sofa was, only to be told by Jenifer that there was a problem with the foam. Iβve asked for a refund as I need a new sofa, but as yet no refund! This company is a disgrace and the customer service is non existent! If my refund isnβt paid in the next few days I will take action against this terrible company! Avoid lincote sofas and save your money and sanity!
