    Like other customers are saying, the person who served me would be better if they smiled and were much more pleasant. Very much lacking in just basic friendly gestures and words. Really surprised as most of the Sainsburys staff are much more pleasant and welcoming.

    Product is ok but that’s got nothing to do with Argos who are the reseller. Yes it’s true , the previous reviews are correct , you get better customer service at a car boot sale for a 50p item. Moody lady working on the till and no please or thank you , this is so sad. The staff at Sainsbury are great but this in store Argos customer service or common courtesy is very poor.

    I’m 26 years old and I got ID for a 12 game…. I understand if it was an 18 but Jesus a 12 game really??? Young girl and she was rude, my mom was with me and she wouldn’t let me mom get it either… bit silly really

    Worst customer service ever experienced by one individual. Twice I needed to return items - one on day 30 and was spoken to rudely; today a faulty item that was agreed with CS online to return, checked two days ago and offered a replacement - replacement ordered, went to collect today and return faulty item to be told no. Manager refused, insinuated the item was damaged, then began to refuse the fact the manufacturer (emailed) stated fault, then said out of warranty, although it was a 2y warranty and Argos confirmed replacement. Manager needs to be retrained on customer experience - firstly had it had a drink spilled on it, then had it been dropped then a faulty charging port and said maybe damage from putting it in harshly. Three accusations of customer fault - not an item failure. Shocking!

    The customer service at this mini Argos branch is often hit and miss. Sometimes the staff are pleasant and helpful but on other occasions, particularly when it's busy, the staff can be exceptionally rude and ignorant. This was particularly so when I asked for a store receipt from one young lady with long black hair, who simply snapped that my online email order was my receipt. Unfortunately as I was purchasing my item on behalf of someone else, I insisted on a till receipt, which is my legal right, but the young lady dismissed this, and told me to stand aside as I was blocking customers. I then requested a manager who managed to resolve my issue, but appeared uninterested at my objections over the disgusting way I had been spoken to and treated by the sales assistant. Not at all an enjoyable experience and I now regrettably shop on Amazon but would rather have supported my local Argos store, had they not been so rude, derogatory and dismissive.

    Returns policy in this store is rubbish . Went to return Iphone cable that stopped working after 4 months and had a years warranty on it . The sales assistant response was negative and when asked for manager, her attitude was worse .She was very rude arrogant abrupt and refused to listen to reason .She even said they have never had any cables come back before and when I tried to show her other peoples reviews on the argos product website she was very sharp and said ,Why are you showing me these? She basically did not want to know and made me feel as if I was at fault . Asked her name she would only give me the name Sandra as I informed her I was contacting Customer servicesUpon ringing them they requested I take it to a different store to return it . I did not feel I should have to go store to store to return a faulty item . Upon ringing back again ,customer services ,I was given Apple supports number who sent me a replacement cable in the post without even accepting my faulty one . I felt that upset by the poor service received from the argos store manager in mere green that I had to write to their Head Office to report the manageress s behaviour . I had a phone call yesterday from the letter I wrote and the lady apologised and asked whether my xable had got sorted or not and was going to speak to the store . Customer service skills in this Argos store need addressing as I have read from the reviews .

    AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS! The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I went to return an item which was faulty, the staff were argumentative, rude and essentially denied me my rights as afforded by the refund policy all whilst calling me a liar. I brought the item back within the 30 day period as per Argos refund policy and was reprimanded for not having brought it back within the first 'two days'. I explained this isn't stipulated in their refund policy but the staff member kept pointlessly repeating herself and then called the manager who had the grace of a stuffed bird telling me she was inclined to agree with her staff before she had even laid eyes on the item to be returned. Nevertheless I went to an alternative store and got my refund. THIS STORE WILL GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO DENY YOU YOUR REFUND, READ THE OTHER REVIEWS - THERE IS A PATTERN EMERGING HERE!
