    Shocking after-sales service! BoConcept actual response to my complaint in '21; I did not spend over £5,500 in your store on an outdoor sofa for it to be ruined; temporarily or otherwise by very covers meant to protect it. I expect my situation to be understood. I expect this to be resolved. I expect you to do your job. Dear Mr P... I believe in treating people as I would like to be treated, which is why I’m remaining polite, despite your approach which is borderline aggressive /abusive. The product You purchased weather resistant furniture, specifically ‘high resistance fabric for all weather use. Aluminium base ensures durability in all weather’ And the covers are described ‘’ The seat and back cushions of Rome are all weather resistant, but for optimal protection use this custom cover’’. The covers improve protection, they are an additional layer. They also have similar permeable design to the cushion fabric to maintain the ability of the product to work through the seasons. Weather resistance is not waterproof. We don’t call it waterproof. Weather resistance means durability through different conditions. Your complaint Your complaint started about rain penetrating the covers. They are performing as described, neither the cushions or covers are claimed to be waterproof, you cannot expect them to be something that they are not. And you complained about water / tide marks after you bought the cushions inside. We are not responsible for your actions, it was your decision to bring the cushions inside when part was wet and part was dry, this is what created a natural tide mark. They are do not need to be brought inside even in heavy rain, they are durable outside furniture, designed, as described, to be left outside. They drain and dry naturally, they would not have any marks if the whole surface had been exposed to the same conditions. If you leave the cushions outside this will wash away naturally in rain. Summary The product is performing as designed and claimed. If it were waterproof it would be called waterproof. It isn’t, and you know this well. But you still feel justified to blame us for this, and the results of your own actions. Mr P..., I don’t want you unhappy, and you may have misunderstood what weather resistance means, but the facts do not support the complaint you’re making. And your approach doesn’t create any goodwill. I can arrange an inspection of the product for manufacturing defects by an independent expert (who acts on behalf of trading standards / furniture brands) You can talk to trading standards if you believe the product is falsely described I’m always happy to talk to you - if you can be reasonable. I am sure that you don’t mean to come across as harassing, but you do, and it isn’t helping. So please think about how you handle this. With regards Managing Director

    We are thrilled with our Modena corner sofa and Charlotte chair, both in Beige Lazio fabric. They look fantastic in our new lounge. The service from BoConcept, Birmingham was excellent from the day we ordered right through to delivery. We had to wait 16 weeks for delivery but this was explained at the beginning. It was worth the wait! The furniture is top quality, contemporary and has the wow factor. We cannot be more impressed. We will buying from BoConcept again!

    A very nice experience but we did our research online so we more or less new what we wanted from the showroom and luckily the very sofa was on show in the shop so we new we had chosen the right colour and design. We also wanted a leather corner suite for our kitchen dinner we had forwarded plan and measurements to the show room so they new the size of the suite that would fit our requirements they just needed to know the colour and type of design and the quality of the leather we required. The staff there were very good at design and seemed to know what we were looking for we did our research before hand because we had to travel from Nottingham to Birmingham so it had to be done on the day in fact everything done and dusted by lunch time very efficient thank you.
