Came for a Sunday roast and it was delicious. Huge portion that I couldn’t finish but excellent quality of food - lots of meat and potatoes. If I could change the slightest thing it would be to have more gravy, or have it served with a small jug of gravy alongside it. But other than that this far exceeded my expectations.

Had a lovely Sunday roast here, would recommend! Decent portion of food and was really tasty! Only down side was we were waiting a long time for food and the service was very slow at the end.

My visit to The Cock Tavern was a lively and authentic pub experience that captured the essence of London’s traditional drinking culture. The atmosphere was warm and bustling, with rustic interiors, wooden furnishings, and a friendly buzz that made it feel both historic and welcoming. The drinks selection was excellent. The pub offered a wide range of local ales, craft beers, and ciders, all well‑kept and served with care. It’s the kind of place where you can discover something new while also enjoying reliable classics. The food was hearty and satisfying. From pub staples like fish & chips and pies to lighter bites, everything was cooked well and served generously. It paired perfectly with the relaxed, convivial setting. Service was friendly, attentive, and genuine. The staff contributed to the welcoming atmosphere, ensuring guests felt comfortable and well looked after throughout the visit. What made the visit special was the combination of authentic pub character, quality drinks, and genuine hospitality. It felt less like a routine stop and more like being part of a living tradition in London’s pub scene. Overall, The Cock Tavern is a must‑visit – a place where great drinks, hearty food, and a lively atmosphere come together to create a memorable experience.

Came in on a monday for a quick, decent lunch (vegan gnocchi) and was so impressed I booked a table for dinner and the pub quiz. Tom and Fran were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

I came in the other day with my son after viewing a house round the corner. Was looking at local bars to hopefully work in when I move to the area and this did not disappoint. Really friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere and location. Hopefully see more of the pub in the near future x

Came in for a meal with my family, could not be more impressed by the rage of food. The food itself was really delicious. I had the chicken pie, my brother loved his plant burger. The staff were very helpful and brought a great atmosphere. All smiles :)

Lovely Young's pub, good selection of beers, good food(although the mac'n'cheese could have done with more of the later), plenty of vegan options, the garden is a big plus and the staff were very friendly too.
