Great pub. Always something extra going on making a great atmosphere. Provide great service and are welcoming and friendly.

Great boozer with a solid atmosphere during the week. Decent selection of lagers and real ales with a few tvs dotted around the place. Would recommend to people coming for a few mid week pints but I haven’t been on a weekend so not sure what it is like then. Would return for sure
The King & Queen in Caterham is an absolute riot! From the moment I walked in, I felt like royalty. The staff treated me like a king (or queen!), and the atmosphere was buzzing with good vibes. I ordered a pint, and it was so good I almost considered proposing to it. The decor is quirky and charming, with enough character to make even the grumpiest of patrons crack a smile. If you’re looking for a place to have a laugh and enjoy a top-notch pint, this is it. Long live The King & Queen!

A totally unbiased review, a pub is very much the representation of the landlord; in this case Kathy Hill. One would find it difficult to find a more warm, welcoming and friendly pub than the King and Queen. I am lucky enough to visit several times a week, and I am never let down. Kathy has built a friendly, personable team in an environment that is quintessentially English, your local pub. Not only does she have a decent selection of drinks to accommodate all tastes, but the live music nights and events are awesome. Please visit, I would guarantee you will have a lovely evening in front of the fire, or at the bar!
What can be said other than this is the best traditional pub for miles. Great staff and best kept beers. Fullers ESB is at its best here. Great job Cathy (the licensee).
Nice place, but Guinness is a bit thin and not a great head on it My wife loved her blush wine It was VERY warm in there!!!
Not a very welcoming environment. Staff were very straightforward with a stern straight forward question. What are drinking. No Hello or small talk, only an order to make sure I keep my Assistance Dog on his leash. No decent Lagers like, Fosters, Stella, or any other favourite British public House traditional lagers.. I definitely won't be going back to that miserable environment.
Real log fire. Nice decor. Good filter coffee. Quite a bit of dust around the place, could do with a clean.
