We booked a Christmas get together in the room on the first floor. The set up was perfect for our group, Christmas menu great for both the kids and adults, and Ronnie who took care of us was lovely. Communication from the team at the Kings Head was great. Super easy and stress free, we will be back!

Delicious food, especially the seasonal choices but the core menu is also good. Very friendly and helpful service and very dog friendly (bowls/treats/even a bed!). A regular choice for lunch a tasty Sunday lunch!

My dad and I finished work and thought we would go in as we've never been. I'm very happy we did. We had a quick bite. Our sandwiches were huge. I had a steak burger n chips, and he had a tomato and cheese pesto sandwich. The chips were fresh and very filling. We had a pint of Guinness and pint of neck oil. We couldn't even finish them as we were so full from the sandwiches. We like it so much we went back again another day and pints in the garden after a hot day out in the sun. The garden was lovely. Great space n the artwork at the back was just beautiful. Loved the plants around. I know it rained earlier, but it would've been nice if the tables and chairs were wiped a bit. Other than that, it was great. We will definitely visit again.

We came here for Sunday lunch and were really impressed by how the manager went out of their way to accommodate our dog. The place was really busy on a Sunday so reservations are recommended. Sunday roast options were great with main menu also available. Only issue is quite a few drinks we were hoping to order weren't available. Regardless will be back again!

One of the best dining experiences we've had in the Greater London area. The food was gorgeous and absolutely delicious, the decor was charming, and the staff was friendly. Prices are on the high-ish side, but oh so worth it. We had: Ploughman's Board Plant burger Fish and chips Maple roast heritage squash (OMG where have you been all my life?) Pear and blackberry crumble with non-dairy vanilla ice cream (nom nom) Chocolate brownie with honeycomb ice cream And the best part? We totally came here by mistake. Thought we were going to a National Trust property with the same name, only it's 1.5 hours from here and we were hungry. Sometimes the chips just fall your way.

Lunch was very good, nothing to fault, other than noted that other tables were a little frustrated as there was a shortage of serving staff, and they had to collect their own cutlery from the benches. However, it was relatively busy and the staff were doing their best. Second visit.... Good atmosphere, very busy from 12.30 on. Food very good although the chicken ballotin was not what as expected. Was more like sausage meat stuffing in a broth... rather than a whole portion of chicken so somewhat disappointed. But would not choose it again.

Food was ok, roast pork loin with staffing was tough and needed stake knife. customer service good and staff were polite but busy to pay any attention when you have been waiting very long. Pork belly was juicy and tender. White wine Chardonnay was sweet and fruity.

Great place to come and eat. Different seating areas. Staff are fab and the food never disappoints. I had the vegan salad the other day and it was excellent. My plate was clear. My friend had the chicken pie and said it was delicious too.

New Renovated decor is now Properly "on point". Colour scheme, wood stains & wallpapers, along with New furnishings. All are now So much better than they were. The whole look had become very dated. Was really in need of being updated. It's been done Really Well. Can't wait to try the food again. As menu has been changed a little as I understand it. Beer garden is now one of the best in all of North London. Youngs* have done themselves a massive favour by spending their money Well on this place. Kings Head (Winchmore Hill) will now deservedly attract Plenty of Attention. Quality Within that Warrants the peoples attentions. Worth a visit or two.... or more. Well done. Here
