   I've given this a five star for food because of the excellent selection of pub snacks. Really nice, friendly place and great cask ale. A group of us Haringey Borough fans popped in on the way to our match at Brentwood FC. We couldn't have been made more welcome. Really nice place.

   Nice traditional pub. Decor dated but always incredibly well kept. Bar staff attentive and very pleasant. Good quality beer and patrons invariably friendly. Never any problems. Proper boozer vs commercial High St ones

   Really nice atmosphere, there was a good (well meaning banter amongst a moderate to small) crowd in for the rugby, the bar staff were pleasant up to the point it looked like we were leaving then we were worse than invisible, completely blanked when I took the glasses back and said goodbye. 6 Ales on all yellow, which I guess is playing to your crowd. Won't go back, not because it was bad, but because it wasn't good
