    Avoid Magnet Minworth & Head Office – Dishonest & Incompetent If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Magnet Minworth and Magnet Head Office has been nothing short of appalling. From misleading sales tactics to design errors and a complete lack of accountability, I would strongly advise anyone to take their business elsewhere. * The designer got key measurements wrong, leading to last-minute changes, including swapping my breakfast bar worktop without properly explaining it. * I was pressured to sign the contract to secure pricing and a delivery dateβ€”before being given full details of my design. * I was misled into believing the worktop would seamlessly flow into the window, but this was not the case. Now, Magnet refuses to provide what I was led to believe was included. * Emails were ignored, and only when I escalated my complaint did I get vague responses that avoided accountability. * Head office has failed to properly investigate my complaints, showing they haven’t even read the emails I sent. Instead of resolving their mistakes, they place the blame on me for signing a contract that was not properly explained. * I was never informed of a refund for a unit swap until I kept chasing the issue, proving they were not going to be upfront about it. I trusted Magnet to deliver a high-quality kitchen and professional service, but instead, I have faced nothing but stress, delays, and dishonest practices. I would urge anyone considering using Magnet Minworth to think twice and look elsewhere.

    EDIT: Things have taken a turn for the worse. Official complaint raised due to significant issue. If handled properly, will review and update here. Downgraded to 2-stars pending investigation. Good so far - professional and courteous sales staff and amazing kitchen ordered. If the fitting goes as well as everything else so far, will update the rating higher and add pictures.

    Awful experience once you have paid the money they dont care that you are so unhappy with a bad quality kitchen 15 year guarantee doesnt exist!!!!!

    Tried to book an appointment for kitchen fit a couple of times. However on both occasions could not keep appointments. If they can’t get my appointment right how on earth are they going to deliver a kitchen on time. Will not bother again as when I advised them of this they weren’t bothered.

    Recently purchased some oak doors and a worktop after changing our trade account to platinum. Fay Thornhill was our point of contact for our first order, she made things quick and easy. From that point I have continued to only deal with Fay as she is the most professional and knowledgeable member of staff at Magnet in my opinion. We have had encounters with other members of staff and have not been satisfied to say the least. If you are visiting this store ensure you ask for Fay - customer service is spot on and I hope this is recognised by senior management.

    Having had a kitchen fitted recently by a competitor in a former house we feel well qualified to comment on Magnet's performance on a kitchen fitted recently. Major Points 1) Magnet did not keep to some very important timings, hence the fitting of the kitchen over ran 2) Magnet demand 100% of payment upfront so there is no come back if there are ANY problems 3) Magnet staff have told lies to cover wrong doings 4) Magnet fitter's mate was extremely untidy 5) Magnet manager 'forgot' to order the uplift of our old kitchen, hence it sat outside our house in 'Hippo bags' for a month 6) Magnet fitter had to come back 4 times to sort out 'snagging' problems 7) No contact from Magnet Sales personnel after payment, despite knowing some of our problems 8) Despite being promised a call back from Magnet Customer Service this never happened. We would be happy to employ the actual fitter that Magnet contracted the job to, but would not recommend Magnet for kitchens and would certainly never use them again
