Had such a great experience at my local Halfords on Masons hill BR2. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the young man who checked my car and fitted breakfast lights for me was great Thank you guys
Extremely disappointed by the lack of communication between the Halfords website and their stores. I paid for a battery and fitting online, but after showing up for my appointment at Bromley branch, the store admitted they weren't equipped to do the job. Dealing with customer service to fix this through my premium motoring club has been an uphill battle. If Halfords is monitoring this, please look into case #27741005—I just want the service I am owed. Edit 24/12: Toni, thanks for the apology. I'm surprised you missed case #27741005 in my original review, which details all my conversation with your motoring club team. I suppose this can help you 'put things right' than me having to start over?
Attempted using them a few times for a few odd bike bits and every time I’ve gone in there to get it it’s been out of stock even though the website says instock at store. This happens I understand that. But today I popped in to try and buy a speed magnet that showed stock and got ignored for a short while whilst the two people behind the counter had a gossip and when they finally greeted me it was like I’d rudely interrupted them. When I asked if they had it I received a dirty look and abruptly told no we don’t have that and we don’t do them even though they’re on the website. No apologies or even any interest given.
I never heard of Halfords before this request for a review popped up in my in box. I'd be much more impressed if this company verified e-mail addresses before communication of this kind. Isn't that standard these days?

Two assistants at the front door till gave me such excellent service. One even ran out to the car park to get my car reg number. Wipers fitted in a few seconds by Tony. Happy guy also so efficient. First time in this shop and was so relieved to receive a marvellous and friendly service. Thank you.
Collected 2 bikes this afternoon & before they were brought out I expressed my concern one may be too small ! The gentleman was very friendly and amazing can do attitude… explained sizing &’room to grow . Took down few options & guided through the process and I upgraded to what was better suited . Great customer service ! Thank you
Three wiper blades bought online for collection same day. No text received to notify that the order was ready for collection but. The order was collected later same day but, when home, discovered that one wiper was completely incorrect (not what was ordered) and one of the other two did not have the necessary fittings. 3 stars because a refund was quickly processed.
Just had my 10 point car check which was included in the Halfords Auto Trader membership sign up. Martin was really thoughtful and explained everything to me in layman's terms. Will definitely be returning back to Halfords for one of these in about a year. Would easily pay the £15 for it despite getting it for free.
Every time I go to this place, there is a queue. Customer service is slow. There is only ever one person serving, nobody else is ever about to help on the floor with queries. Very poor customer experience at this particular store. My advice is seek out an alternative store or better still an alternative retailer.
