   STAY AWAY – Unprofessional, Incompetent, and Dishonest ​ ​I would give this place zero stars if I could. Save yourself the stress, time, and money—do not bring your vehicle here. ​My experience was a total disaster from start to finish: ​Zero Organization: I was booked for a 3:00 PM tire change. Upon arrival, I was told they didn’t even have my tires in stock. It took 20 minutes of arguing with an incredibly unpleasant receptionist before they suddenly "found" them. ​Ridiculous Wait Times: I was told it would take 45 minutes. They didn’t finish until 5:50 PM. It took them nearly three hours to change tires—that is effectively one tire per hour. Because of their incompetence, I had to take a half-day off work and cancel multiple afternoon jobs, costing me even more money. ​Property Damage: To make matters worse, while they were driving my van back to me, they crashed it into a gate. * Abysmal Customer Service: When I asked the receptionist for a direct contact number in case they didn’t follow up about the repairs (as promised), she became visibly upset and offended that I would even suggest they wouldn't call. ​Situation took place on 26.11.25, and despite their "promises," nobody has bothered to call me to sort out the damage they caused to my vehicle. ​This garage is staffed by people who are slow, rude, and incapable of driving a vehicle ten yards without hitting something. They have zero respect for their customers' time or property. You have been warned—go anywhere else but here.

   Jay and the team are the best! Excellent customer service, always friendly, explain everything and keep me up-to-date with any work happening, and give me choices especially when it comes to costs. They're so patient with everyone, and always go out of their way to help. I do my MOT with them and the regular winter/spring vehicle checks for peace of mind, plus any maintenance. If they can't do any work in the garage they are always transparent about it and help find me the right place to go. I wouldn't use any other garage now.

The job was done efficiently, the price was fair, and my car feels great now. No pressure, no surprises—just solid, reliable work.    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ MOT Review – Halfords Garage I recently visited Halfords Garage for my annual MOT, and from start to finish the customer service was outstanding. When I first called to book the appointment, I spoke with Jay, the assistant manager, who was friendly, helpful, and efficient. His excellent service over the phone immediately gave me confidence. When I arrived for the MOT, I was equally impressed by the respectful and professional manner in which Ben assisted me. As a 50-year-old woman, my experiences in garages over the years have sometimes ranged from suspicious to sketchy — but this was the complete opposite. Ben was courteous, genuine, and took the time to explain everything clearly. When I thanked him for such excellent service, he told me he always treats female customers the same way he would treat his own mum or sister. It was refreshing to hear and even better to experience. I would definitely use this garage again and highly recommend it to others.

   Amazing staff who are professional yet friendly and approachable. I'd like to thank Ben especially for his assistance in selecting the best tyres for my BMW 3 series. I followed his advice, and I wish other local garages had employees like Ben. I'd also like to thank Jay, who serviced my car and was a pleasure to interact with. Both Ben and Jay advised me to buy Goodyear tyres and I want thank them for their tremendous support. Halfords is fortunate to have them. I definitely recommend this garage to friends and family.

   Location... location....location The key issue is parking,don't just turn up ....book it online,just opened for one year.....Newsflash,at the moment their recruiting.... At the end of the day consistency,is all you should expect,manners goes far....and sometimes you meet people that don't know how to treat people with respect,this can't always be gauged around the company ethics ,but by individual people who have their own agenda.'

   they ordered me the wrong windscreen wipers twice then told me to go to the dealer. none of them knew how to get my wipers off (which turned out to be very simple) and had to use YouTube to work out how. one of them tried to put them on the wrong way and told me they are the same size! The worst part of it is when I tried to take off the ones they had put back on. I had a hard time doing so BECAUSE THEY PUT THEM ON THE WRONG WAY. Receptionist couldn't tell me how much my service would be for my car he did not know the meaning off 1799cc. incompetentcy at its finest. I did it myself as I should of. waste of time

   I went in to get my tyre pressure sorted and coolant topped up. Had the best experience. They were so helpful. The assistant manager Adam did it all so quickly. He went above and beyond and he was so kind & didn't charge me. I would highly recommend and plan to refer anyone and everyone

   I was concerned about a recent oil leak I had spotted coming from my car and visited this branch to see if they could check out what was the cause. I didn’t have an appointment so wasn’t expecting my car to be seen that day, but surprisingly the mechanic called Wayne could tell there was a problem with the sump and said he could take a look that day. Adam on reception was very helpful and I think it was Michael on reception who’s sorted the booking and ordered the part immediately and said it would be done in 1hr+half. They kept their word and all was fixed and sorted promptly. I felt comfortable as a woman being there as other car places I’ve been to make you feel stupid or intimidated. Thanks guys for such a quick but professional oil service!
