Amazing hotel! Amazing value for money. Excellent location - short walking distance to the city centre. Spotless and very well equipped room - great attention to detail. The stand-out feature was the staff, in particular the lovely Yeshfa and Joanne: both engaging, friendly, helpful and made sure our stay was personal and very enjoyable. They really looked after us. Gorgeous breakfast included, with great choice and delicious food, and the restaurant was calm with lovely decor and a really relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely, highly recommend this hotel - a very affordable gem in a lovely city! We had a brilliant experience and we will hopefully be back soon.

Absolutely lovely budget hotel, better than a lot of expensive hotels I've been to! Yashfa was attentive, warm and helpful, and the rest of the team were nice and smiley too. There was also free popcorn, win! You can tell they've really gone the extra mile with it to make it as friendly and cosy as they can. If I lived in Sheffield I'd even go to just hang out in the lobby. Thanks Yashfa for such a lovely time :)

Stayed here with my partner, we had come to see a friend staying in a uni accommodation close by, location was perfect for us as non off us drive, everything we needed was within a 5-20min walk. Check in and out was easy, we arrived an hour earlier than check in but they got us off straight to our room. The rooms are average, clean, shower was great, big windows so nice light and view. Staff were friendly and helpful, only issues we had was the dip in the mattress was horrendous, we’re both small and just slid down, I wouldn’t have stayed any longer than the 2 nights in that bed. Would return but hopefully a better bed next time.

Me and my partner visited recently for one night and our experience was not positive at all. Check in desk is not well sign posted and is just a bookshelf with a laptop however the stuff member was nice and friendly. The lounge area is very nice and welcoming too. The room was a good size for the price but wasn’t the cleanest. The bed sheet had what looked like someone snot on it, the kettle is in need of some TLC. Only one bin that’s in the bathroom which had no bin liner and general dust and dirt on the floor. Although our room was facing a main road there was no noise from the traffic outside. The bed was far too firm and felt like sleeping on a rock and only one pillow each which were very flat too. The room gets very hot with only a small fan above the bed. It’s also worth noting we visited in late October and was quite cold outside. The morning was horrible. Around 10am all we could hear outside our room was the maid shouting. At around 10:30 there was loud banging at our door and someone pushing down the door handle. My partner had just come out the shower and was getting changed in the room while I was in the loo. They attempted to open the door multiple times but thankfully we had locked it other wise my partner would have been exposed to the whole hotel. When I answered the door it was the same maid who was shouting outside in the hallway and all she said to me was “okay, thank you”. It’s incredibly rude just the attempt to walk into someone’s room, especially when we weren’t even given anytime to answer the door before trying the door handle. It’s also worth noting check out was 12pm.

We had a great stay at the Ibis Budget. For a budget hotel, the rooms were great, with good bathrooms. Lovely bar area. Good food and drink. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Good location for everything we wanted to do. The Moor car park is a little bit of a walk with luggage but we brought the car to the back of the hotel which made it easy. Thanks to all the team.

Good city centre location we asked for a quiet room and it was, though bed was against the wall so one person had to climb over the other to get in bed. Clean and functional, nice cafe and reasonable price

Great hotel, very accomadating when I had to get a parcel delivered to the hotel and good location. Only one star lost as the cleaning lady knocked on my door at 10am (checkout is 12pm) and asked me to leave so she could clean. I refused but she persisted until another staff member appeared and apologised. Other than this, a good stay and this is my 2nd time staying here :)

Budget on point! Space is on budget. Breakfast is on budget. Location is almost perfect, just that it takes a bit of dark pavement at night when you want to go to city centre. Not recommended for those who brings pram or buggies. Space is just too tight! I paid £58ish for a triple room.

The worst budget hotel we have ever been to. We played 134 pounds for a room that barely fits a bed. And they call themselves a budget hotel. They do not have a parking. We had to park 15 minutes away from the so called hotel. No telephone in the room to call reception. Dust everywhere in the room. I found egg shells in the electric kettle. Their front desk is literally a book shelf turned into a front desk. It is a joke of a budget hotel that charges you over 134 pounds for a box that they call a bedroom. Service is zero!

Very surprised with this hotel. The rooms are really small but fine for an overnight stay. A nice large eating drinking area and reasonable prices. Staff were friendly.
