Excellent service from the team at KwikFit Balham. I have used them twice within a few weeks and will not hesitate to return. Very helpful with an impressively methodical and careful approach.
Wouldn’t recommend going here as a young woman, the team member serving me made me feel stupid that I didn’t know about tyres then tried to charge me over £600 and only since I questioned if they ordered others in that were cheaper did he halve the price if I waited until the next day. Awful experience. Very disappointing for a national brand - you should be ashamed! There is a lovely new place around the corner that fitted my four new tyres for a third of the above and within 30mins.
The members were more friendly than those of the Kwik fit London - Wimbledon but filled the air pressure differently, so my car popped up the alarm sign when I was driving on the highway just the day after replacing the two front tyres. So I have to revisit the store, and the one of engineers said that the front left tyre pressure was too high. The right one was 35psi and the left one was 40psi, the rear tyres were 35, too. I couldn’t understand that they didn’t check the whole tyres’ air pressure before to handover the car.
I called the garage a day before and spoke to Lucas regarding a broken tyre air valve. Lucas was very polite and booked me in for the next day. Upon arrival Lucas made himself known and although it was a quick fix, Lucas was extremely helpful, courteous and polite. A great customer service.
I have been to kwik fit Balham many times for tracking, punctures and aircon and they are very good. However when I asked about tires for my car i was advised to go home and look for and order tires on the Kwik fit website and also to book an appointment on line to come in and have them fitted. I was a bit disappointed at this as i felt i was being asked to first go away and second do all the work. I went to another tire place in Leamington spa and the guy there came out to my car, looked at the tires then we went inside and he told me all the tires and prices he had in stock and then fitted them there and then. A very good service i thought and how it should be.
I had a problem with my brake and indicator lights- sorted in 15 mins! Excellent service and really swift, despite there being a queue and almost closing time, everyone was really helpful and informative. The manager on site was fantastic, professional, polite and didn’t charge for the job at hand as it was minimal which was a brilliant touch!
Called up because I had a screw in my tire this morning. They asked me to come in and fixed it within about 20 minutes! Brilliant, thank you.
