   We had a group Christmas lunch here last week and had a wonderful time We were a party of 30. We were greeted upon arrival. The staff were welcoming. As people arrived a staff member came to everyone to check their food order and noted where everyone sat. Everyone received their correct order and dietery requirements catered for. The food was plentiful and nicely cooked. Plenty of positive comments from our party in relation to the food, staff and how everwhere was set out. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. All these factors provided for a lovely Christmas lunch. Will certainly recommend to family and friends

   We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Waterside in Warrington. From the second we walked in, the place felt warm, festive and inviting. The décor is gorgeous — everything is spotless, beautifully laid out, and has that cosy-but-smart feel that instantly puts you in a good mood. It really set the tone for a lovely Christmas meal. We’d booked a table for six for the special Christmas menu, and at 3 courses for £26.99, it genuinely felt like amazing value. I started with the camembert, which was rich, gooey and full of flavour — honestly one of the nicest starters I’ve had in a while. For my main I had the sirloin steak, cooked to absolute perfection. My wife and daughter chose the turkey dinner, and it arrived looking like the perfect Christmas plate. We asked for extra gravy (as you do!), and the team were more than happy to bring it over straight away. Dessert didn’t disappoint either. I went for the winter berry sundae, which was refreshing and sweet, while the brownies were a big hit on the other side of the table. Every course felt well cooked, well presented and properly enjoyed. The staff were brilliant — friendly, attentive, and quick to clear up once we’d finished without ever making us feel rushed. The Christmas crackers on the table were a lovely extra touch and made the whole thing feel like a proper festive celebration. All in all, a fantastic meal, great atmosphere, and brilliant staff. We’ll definitely be back, and I’d highly recommend the Waterside to anyone looking for a relaxed but special Christmas outing.

   Family Gathering - Met up with family and a friend. Food was nothing special for myself and another but but one family member had a Tomahawk steak ... it was massive. My family did say the steaks were better. I didn't want steak.

   I am very happy I stayed at the Waterside Hotel and had breakfast there. They take good care of the guests and accommodate funny requests when possible. My special thanks to Adele, she has a good eye for detail and contributed to starting the days on a good mood =) Also thanks to kitchen staff! Good work! Those egg Benedict... And the pancakes...    Stopped in for breakfast and really enjoyed it. I had the avocado on toast – super fresh and tasty. The place has a nice relaxed vibe, and the food came out quickly. Our server, Adele, was great – really friendly and helpful, made us feel welcome. Overall, a lovely spot for breakfast. Would definitely come back.

   We visited as a Large group of diners on a very busy Saturday night at the Waterside. Food was great, beautifully presented but what the whole experience really special was the individual service given to us by the lovely Vicky. What an asset to the team at the Waterside she is. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she dealt with everything with a smile on her face. Very enjoyable evening.

   Had a great meal at the Waterside tonight celebrating a 21st birthday. The pub was busy, had a great atmosphere and the food was great and very well presented, but what stood out was the fantastic service from the whole team serving us, with Vicky in particular doing a great job of not only looking after the whole table, but also paying attention to the youngest member of the group.

   I've only been once but would definitely return... Staff greeting and throughout were friendly, approachable, helpful and efficient... Food was delicious- my Vegan burger had some salad but as I'd received it and my immediate thought " out loud " was "' oh gosh How Sad"'.... The waitress had then mentioned to the chef who so kindly sent me a salad bowl- which was so appreciated.... Great prices and Just all round.Very enjoyable... Great ambience and Clean!

   As I'm currently having some much needed time-out, a friend kindly invited me out for tea, and suggested this lovely place... Its a great venue! Very accommodating with my dietry needs and preferences. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and seemed genuinely lovely. The food was delicious, service was excellent, and ultimately, my visit was most enjoyable. If i could give 10 stars, I would.. Bless you all. This was a much needed positive experience.

   A pretty good pub. Our second visit, which affirmed our positive first impression. My wife really liked the ribs, my chicken fajitas was good as well. Kids meals also good. Service was good as well with attention to detail. Well worth a visit.
